OLED televisions have gotten much better about image retention and burn in but it is still possible no matter what they tell you. Best buy service plan states in its coverage that it covers Burn in on OLED televisions and as far as I know nobody else does no matter what coverage they purchase. Televisions these days aren’t made to last no matter what brand you go with it and I’ve read tons of reviews of flagship TVs going dead with months of purchase and many just after the one year warranty expires. It cost a little extra but I feel better knowing I’m good for at least 5 years.

Can’t beat it. Something not working the way it did when you got it? Take it back and get another one. No mailing anything off. Which is why I get all my electronics from Best Buy and not anywhere else

These gentlemen work every problem I have. And I use them a lot having little kids pressing buttons they shouldn’t. Broken or just a jam they get me taken care of. Even help me file for new stuff. Thanks guys for your help

As always best buy prices on their TV with a great service plan is the best I've seen out of all the other electronic stores. Product plan with geek squad is like true family

I have purchased a mini things through Best Buy and everything I have ever brought. I have never had any problems if something went wrong I needed to return it or if something was damaged and I needed to return it the Best Buy Plaza Airport Road is the best never had a hard time they have always been willing to assist me And I appreciate everything they do Best Buy really stand behind a products thank you guys so much. Honest service. They won't jerk you around trying to get paid for doing unnecessary repairs. The techs are knowledgeable. Although the products are good, they often fail after the manufacturer's warranty, which is a common practice (planned obsolescence). Geek Squad is there to honor and help.

Definitely recommend getting this for large purchases. I've never needed to use it. But it definitely is a peace of mind. I know people that have used it. I have a family member that Is a best buy manager and they fully recommend it as it does pay for itself most tye time

Purchased Geek Squad Protection Plan, sometimes a deciding factor when purchasing item of a greater value. Great people and Team of experts at Best Buy! Not always needed, which is a good thing, but beyond any product's warranty and experiencing problems, they come and repair products on-site and if parts become unavailable, they will replace it with a new product. I can only speak highly of Geek Squad Services.

These are worth it in my opinion, no matter what you may be buying. Often times, something may quit on you just as a year has passed. Twenty bucks just gives you a little reassurance.
