The protection was a good deal and gave me peace of mind.

I was delivered a 85” with a huge crack in the screen and after weeks of getting bounced between Samsung and Best Buy I still have a broken TV with no answers. Best Buy is refusing to remedy this situation even with the protection plan. No use in buying the plan, even if the product is ruined by a Best Buy employee themselves, they still won’t fix it.

I have not shopped at Best Buy for years and can honestly say I do not miss it. Poor customer service, Hassle to get a price match, and Geek Squad Protection is a joke. Good news is I got this protection for a steal for a price matched TV that the store did not want to match. Will definitely take my business elsewhere and cancel the my best buy membership that was only purchased to get an extended return period because the standard 14 days is a joke. Brick and mortar tech stores will eventually all go under, Best Buy is on that path.

Reasonably priced insurance against surge/lightning damage.

I purchased the warranty because they said it will cover anything. On my 70" vizio a bug managed ti crawl under the screen to the center of the tv so now there is a perminit black dot . if they are willing to fix this issue i will come back a re review the warranty!

Everything Ive Dealt with Best Buy Offered was Gold thus far.

Very good warranty from Geek squad and fast services.

I recommend this for most purchases. It’s worth the money on a big purchase. Just know that it does NOT cover physical damage. I learned that the hard way. No matter how it happens it’s not covered at all.

Would I get the plan again next time, I am not sure. While it is great to have that insurance, we have gone over a year without an issue and wonder if we spent the money for nothing. It is not a knock on the plan itself, as we just got a great product

Never had to use it. Wouldn't ya know the TV crapped out right after the 2 year protection plan.

They came over to fix our brand new TV. They said it was fixed and the very next day the problem came back.

Can't be too careful. Hope I don't have to use this lol
