Buying the warranty is smart thing to do incase anything happens

In 2013 I got the 5yr plan on a Panasonic 50 inch plasma tv that was already openboxed at my local Best Buy. Last week it died on me and due to my location I would have to wait 2 weeks to have a service agent come out to my house to take a look at it. They mentioned that I was able I could take it in to the store. When I got it to the store some things were looked up by the Geek Squad agents in the store and 15 minutes later I was loading a new 55 inch Samsung 8000 series curved LED 4k tv in my truck as a replacement. No yelling, no fuss just simple. Highly recommended to get the service plan on a TV. (Just as a side note... this plan does NOT cover accidental physical damage)

Geek squad customer service was awesome, they were very helpful in getting my television delivered to my home , explained everything to me and email me the information

He was efficient and knew how to use his tools, and explained the 5 year protection plan which we also purchased, He was confident and very easy to work with
