I purchased the protection plan, but end up not needing it due to the return. It is a reasonable price.

The geek squad protection was very cheap for the 55" insignia tv I bought $25 which will cover me for 4 yrs

Geek squad is a must for any tech you buy. So straight forward. You have an issue, they fix your issue.

They do not make things the way they use to. It is worth the little bit of extra money to be protected.

Hoping nothing happens to my TV, but if there is an issue Geek Squad will be my first call.

An ant died behind my screen (darn you, nature!). An agent came in a day or two and assessed the problem. Soon after a team came and took the old tv and replaced it. Due to the age of my TV, Samsung no longer makes them. The team did not set up the new tv, but I'm ok with it. The downside is that my original TV was replaced with one that was worth half the price. While the picture quality is good, its not equivalent to what I originally purchased. My current TV may be the last one I use an extended warranty for.

Very good product to have when you need it and comforting to know you have.
