I had a five year warranty one the first one. After less than 2 years it went bad. They replaced it under the warranty but would not transfer the 3 years left onto the replacement. Had to buy a new warranty for it. Got shorted the remaining 3 years. Not right it was paid for and they said it could not transfer to the new one or be refunded.

I took the extended warranty with all of my tvs and am glad I did never know when you need it

I love paying $97.00 and knowing that my new 43'' Sony 4K will be covered for 2 years. Very Satisfied! :)
