Terrible 3rd party experience
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went in to Best Buy to pick up my TV. Stopped by the geek squad counter to check installation prices, 2 amazing geek squad members sold me on the geek squad membership. Next day installation booked. To make a long story short: 1) an outsourced company showed up late 2) the guy called me, made a racial slur then actually showed up to my house 3) he installed the tv improperly, just threw it up on the wall didn’t even ask me if the position was ok (too high, low, center) 4) when I asked him about it he said he couldn’t move the tv down, and that’s what happens when you mount a $1000 tv on a $20 mount 5) Someone had to come the next day to move the tv down Many apologies from geek squad, was not compensated for my GRIEF or the disrespect from the company. Will not be renewing this membership, tempted to be done with Best Buy altogether.
