Great job mounting and hiding my wires. Looks awesome on the wall.

The agents installed my TV and connected my stereo, but having trouble with sound to my stereo.

After the delays, I will never use Geek Squad or shop at Best Buy again. I scheduled a TV install appointment for my senior mother to help her get a new TV installed. At the first appointment, the techs said she needed a different wall mount unit. No problem, returned one, ordered the one they wanted, made a follow-up appointment. Today was the install appointment date. After waiting for 2+ weeks, they hung a missed you sticker on our door and left. No call. No knock. They just left. I called the local store to see what happened and they hung up on me after I expressed my irritation in waiting just to have them leave with no attempt to contact me. All they would do is offer to reschedule again. This time a month out. Use anyone other than Geek Squad and you’ll be better off.

They mounted the tv as we asked sip tied all the cords.

They were on time and very knowledge of what they were doing.

techs were nice and professional. they busted a cable head on my set up though and I didn't find out until the following week when I was trouble shooting something. also another cable I needed was missing and I suspect they accidentally threw it out. also they forgot to hide my wires for a cleaner look and I had to call them to come back. they returned and completed the work.

First Appointment - I took the day off work. I received several reminders that someone was coming between 7 am and 1 pm. I even called at 9 am to see if they could give me an estimate of what time he'd show up. They couldn't, but said he was coming. I waited until 1:30 pm and then called again. I received a message that appointment had to be rescheduled because no TV was available for another week. This is unacceptable and I should be compensated for my time. They could have notified me of this situation much sooner, or at minimum the day before. Second Appointment - They guy shows up 2 hours early. Nice guy but rushes through installation, wouldn't give me a clear opinion on questions I asked (e.g. best height to put the TV on the wall), he does some things with our remote on his own (without explaining to us) and rushes off. He took a call while at our place and I even overheard him say he'll be finished in a few minutes, without asking us if we needed anything else (e.g. a walk-through of the TV and it's functionality). I wanted my old TV mounted in the bedroom also (there was time to do this). He said another appointment would have to be scheduled, which is fine. He said he would take care of setting it up and confirmed with me that Tuesday at 12 pm was ok for him to come back. I said yes and asked "are you sure I don't have to do anything?" He said "No. I will take care of setting up the appt and I'll be there Tuesday at noon!" And then he even asked for us to give him a good review. Third Appointment: I scheduled time off work again. Tuesday came and went and I still haven't seen or heard from the guy who promised to be here. More of my valuable time wasted. I am definitely not getting value out of purchasing the service and at minimum, I expect a full refund for the geek squad service package.
