After confusion on the order Which did not call for Geek Squad install, they responded very quickly and efficiently. However some of the features of the Sony tv (such as Airplay and HDMI 1) seem not to work and getting in touch with Best Buy support has been greeted with overly long wait times. (Sony software very confusing and difficult to work with and their online manuals practically worthless ) Great TV picture but not sure I’d buy anSony again. Feel Best Buy support very distant to get ahold of on minor problems

The agents took their time to hold the tv up before it was decided where it was to be mounted.

The agents who showed up were great - no issues there. Instead, the problem turned out that the studs in my wall were metal and they weren't allowed to hang using those. (The TV I purchased had instructions for how to mount in that situation - including a separate kit for doing it.) So my issue is with the process involved with the TV mounting. I'm not sure how to best address this issue. I suppose the installation crew could have a plan for mounting whether the studs are wood or metal. That seems like an easier solution than having someone come to the house a day or so earlier to check whether the studs are wood or metal. If you're interested in the actual installation, we did it using input from a couple of sources. First, we got a piece of 3/4" thick plywood and mounted that across three of the metal studs. (The TV mount only uses two studs.) This allows the weight of the TV to be spread across all three rather than just two studs. We used screws/brackets specifically designed for metal studs to secure the plywood to the wall. From there, we attached the TV mount to the plywood. Once secure, the TV went on easily. No issues so far with the mounting.

Cannot say enough about the setup crew. They came in, removed the old TV, brought in the new TV, & discussed the best way to set up our unit. e made a change in the mounting so that the TV could move around more if we decided later, help us decide on things we really didn't need & set up the W-Fy to improve the reception for the best quality. Their professional help was wonderful as well as making sure we understood everything. I am so happy with everything!

Store recommended this wall mount because it can work for a larger TV in the future and because it tilts away from the wall to make it easier to connect the cables.

Installation came in and was done in about an hr. Installed the fireplace wall mount for my 85” in tv and mounted the tv and set up and all. Very professional and took the trash and cleaned up. Very satisfied.
