Excellent device at a great price

Then a friend showed me how he could mirror his iPhone on his TV with his Apple TV. I wa sold. Now we can easily show the photos on our phones to my elderly parents or a group of people, and the Netflix app is way better than the one built in to the TV.

Decent device for what it does

Unfortunately, the NFL app knows that you are broadcasting remotely, and will not allow. I have the original Apple TV Gen 1, and this is much better. It also streams Netflix much faster/efficiently than my old Wii. Just wish it had the capability of adding apps, and being more friendly with smartphone.

Better options available

Air-mirrorig is not flawless. You can't watch videos over Air-play without sacrificing quality. Applications is the biggest issue. Roku is superior with its variety of content and options.

Works well

The picture from this is much better for streaming on our 1080p TV screen than my Roku box, which has a 720p HDMI output. The only downside is that it doesn't stream Amazon.

Solid Product

If you're looking for something to play music, watch movies, or watch Netflix the Apple TV is perfect. The price is very cheap since its refurbished, but it works perfectly fine and has a nice clean UI. It's great for numerous uses.
