I have used Geed Squad service in the past. They are extremely helpful! Haven't used Geek Squad recently, but highly recommend purchasing this service.

We all might as well begin to adapt to buying this type of insurance for almost all portable devices and tablet PC's. Better than Apple care and many more tools at your disposal for resolving hardware or other issues. A necessary part of owning pricy electronics these days.

i was not offered this at 1st when I bought my Lenovo from Best Buy & then my computer crashed about 10 months out. I then came in and found Geek Squad found there was some internal issue or with over-charging my computer and it was fried and the manufacturers warranty did not cover so I was up the creek without the paddle. I spoke with a manager and explained I was not offered the Geek Squad when 1st purchased so she looked up my history & let me add on. Thank goodness she let me add on bc I would have had to just throw the computer away because repair without Geek Squad would've been a new computer. I bought another Lenovo that day & waited for my computer to be repaired, returned & picked-up and I still have it.
