    Great installation of my car stereo!

    I would just like to say how extremely pleased and happy I am with the service I received from Best Buy-Geek Squad in Parker Colorado. After going to car toys and quality auto sound who both tried to rip me off big time I ended up at Best Buy Geek Squad and Geek Squad installer Greg did an excellent job installing the stereo system in my truck. He did quality work at a fair price and I absolutely love my stereo! What I learned in my experience is that car toys and quality auto sound work on commission and geek squad are paid hourly and that is the difference between being ripped off and being treated fairly.

    I am a return customer, I started with the Geek Squad Black Tie plan and have purchased the Geek Squad 2 year Tech Support on the last 2 laptop purchases that I have made. It has more than paid for itself over time, with virus removals, program installs and repair work at the cost of replacement parts only. It covers up to 3 computers so even though it was bought with a new purchase it has been used on older computers that we have as well. We had the hard drive replaced on a second computer after purchasing the part in the store, $60 fix, much better than buying a new computer or paying for labor by the hour.

    Best investment

    While I'm good at what I do for a living, I'm not good at working with the mystery of computer set up. I called Geek Squad first to help with 2 small questions and then I needed help setting up remote access. I found the techs to be smart, personable and caring. I never felt rushed and in the end all issues resolved.

    Good Buy

    This has already paid for itself since I got my new computer. I have had to call Geek Squad 3 times so far and they really helped with my computer problems. But the problems were created by the techs who did the home networking.. They didn't complete the job and left things undone but the phone calls to Geek Squad solve most of the problems. There are still more problems to correct and will be calling again soon.

    Great for someone who is not very technical

    I was a little concerned about spending the money, but it has paid off already. I had a hard time setting up my wireless router (provided by my cable company) with my new computer. After hours on the phone with the cable company & very little help, I decided to call the Geek Squad Tech Support. They set up my router remotely within a short period of time and also put a tutorial on my desktop showing me how to change the password and other settings. Later in the day, they even called me back to make sure everything was working properly! I am very pleased & will most likely renew when the time comes.

    Seemed to have too many people to serve

    I thought the group was understaffed for the number of people wanting service. I had to wait about 40 minutes to be waited on at the store but he was polite and helpful. He assured me I could bring in my questions and computer when I wanted - I will do that next week with some questions.

    I like having this service available to me. I love tech and games but I am not that great at fixing computer issues myself. The staff always explain things to me in terms I can understand. They are always patient with me when I cannot quite explain what is wrong. They ask the right questions to lead me to the answer they need. Worth every penny.

    Went Once, Didn't Fix my Problem

    At least they were nice when they told me there's nothing they could do about my internet problem. I don't know why, but my MacBook Pro 13" keeps dropping the internet signal - not just at home, but in public libraries, as well as on my college campus. Eventually it just magically stopped doing that on it's own, but Geek Squad couldn't help me resolve it.

    The Geek Squad team that came to my house for a new TV installation was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to my family as well. They wall mounted our new Sony XBR65X850B 65" flat screen and all is well. Thanks to Calvin S and John for the great work.

    Sent me away without helping

    I purchased a Surface 2 six months ago and received the blue screen of death the other day telling me my PC needs to be repaired. There I was thinking I purchased the Geek Squad tech support just in case something like this happened. Took my tablet to my local Geek Squad only to be told I needed to fix it myself. In my opinion, it's not right that they sell these services, and then at the first sign of someone actually attempting to use them they send them away without providing the service the customer paid for.

    Getting to the tec that is going to help you is definitely slow. Have had to wait for close to 30 minutes or more every time I've needed them. Once you get to the squad---WOW!!! They know their business and are very congenial while addressing your problems.

    I am a sixtyish housewife, not very computer savvy. When I have a problem, I want to pick up the phone and get an answer. Agent Robert S. solved my problem efficiently and quickly. I have had this service for three years prior to my present renewal, and I have always been satisfied. It is also important to me that a Geek Squad agent will come to my house if the computer problem cannot be solved via remote connection. I want to be right there when someone is working on my computer, and the Geek Squad Tech Support provides that option.

    The guys are simply the best

    I have seldom come across guys who were better to work with and who had the ability to correct computer problems. Their attitude, knowledge (Especially Rueben but all included) and customer relations are simply outstanding (causing me to buy them doughnuts as a thank you.)

    Great for non technical person

    Toshiba laptop having startup problems. Seemed to be resolved. However, a few days later experienced crash dump blue screen several times. At other times has a toshiba small window indicating an error #. A trojan was removed in the geeek shop. But will have to return for follow up. Service techs were very polite and helpful.

    I haven't tried to use the squad remotely, but will be getting my CPU back up to them at the store location to have more memory installed on my system & to have them explain my "print drive device" not working. OverallI am very pleased with their service & knowledge & trust them to help me maintain my system.

    First time geek squad use

    I bought my computer about a year ago feom best buy and also used there recomended virus protection, the virus protection was horrible! Kaspirsky was a waste of money! Two years later i was having trouble with my computer and decided to give the geek squad a chance, i had one man wait on me who was beyond helpful! He was truly amazing! However i went back to drop my compute off and the service was thr worst service i have ever recieved. There were about 5 employees behind the counter doing seemily nothing while only one agent was working. One woman just wanted to pick her computer up yet no one would help. I had to go back a third time because i left after waiting 20 min. The third time the service was just as bad. A man recieved his computer with just his first name, made me think how easy someone could fake getting "their" computer and really be stealing someones. I had a woman who wasnt the nicest and again there was a huge line with 5 emplyees standing around. One woman was being helped on for more than an hour with 3-4 young kids. I will never go back to best buy to purchase anything. The service is deplorable, the majority of the employees appear bored disintrested, un willing to help or lazy. Best buy was a waste of my money and time! I will tell anyone who is planning to use best buy to not go there!

    Wonderful to have a "personal" tech

    I bought the service when I bought my son a new computer and added it to mine and my daughters. I love that I don't have to waste my time and trouble shoot major issues anymore. However Geek Squad in my area needs more reps as they are always bogged down and waits to even turn in your machine can take over 40 minutes.

    Had a bad experience getting a refund for upgrade cards. Very dissatisfied with the outcome. Will probably Not return for any other purchases. The Customer Service Representative @ the toll free number (Lisa) was EXCELLENT IN GETTING PROBLEM RESOLVED but I am unhappy having to return to the location to get the refund.

    Matt helped get me up and going

    Matt was GREAT he was able to get me up and going he found that my tablet was not working correctly! BUT do not listen to the sales people when you ask about intalling software or antivirus on t a tablet or what have you. Just have Best Buy do it from the beginning and save yourself some stress! Don't listen to the people that tell you oh ya bring it in 10mins your in and out because that is NOT true either. Best Buy has a one day turn around!!! NOT convenient when you need something simple done and live 2 HOURS away!!!
