Geek squad is very couple and answer all of my questions

Called help line and got no where. Went to the store and the helped immediately. I won't call help line again but will make trip to local store.

I think it was good choice to buy it is for 3 computers

left my old computer with new one to have tech squad, transfer info and install 8.1. 8.1 wasn't installed along with some of the applications from my old laptop, was without laptop 3 days.. Had to go back to best buy the next weekend have them do the installs and put on 8.1, without a laptop for another 3 days. They should have done it all the first time around. The tech that helped me the 2nd time around was very helpful and friendly. Could not have done it myself.

I am happy to pay for the one year geek squad help. I certainly need it to learn the new Windows 8 and the new Microsoft Word and Excel. So far they have been very helpful. I have a lot more learning to do with my wireless computer. The finger securely identification does not work on my machine and the batter does not have good lighting. So there is much work to be done here.

They helped me figure out the issue with my computer.

I bought the Geek Squad package to get the free hardware installation as I was adding some hardware to my new computer. But picking up the computer when the work was finished took FOREVER - close to an hour! This was strange, as the previous visit, which included calculating which power supply I'd need to add and then finding it on the shelf and actually purchasing it - as well as the creating the work order - took all of 20 minutes. Hopefully this was an anomaly.

I never get to use this product ... when something happens is after it expires ... but i always buy it because you never know.

Don't take a risk get protection for you new product

Proved a good investment after purchasing a new product (lap top) that I am only now learning to use. The "geeks' who helped set up and trouble shoot issues with my computer were professional and efficient. I like that they provided access to their email so that I could follow up in the event of future issues. No more hours waiting on the hold for the next available tech.
