He was personable, thorough, good instructions

On 2d visit he explained causes about additional problems, demonstrated other areas where we were unsure how to proceed. The Geek Squad Agent was always courteous, extremely helpful, made an effort to assist us and we are very satisfied with all performances.

I could have fixed it myself!

I brought my Dell Desktop in because applications were hogging memory and my system would cut off without notice. The GS recommended that I replace the hard drive. I brought my machine home and ran chkdsk /f and corrected whatever was broken. The pc has not cut off on me and programs are running okay. I still plan to backup the hard drive and replace it with a new one. I could have kept my $200 and fixed the problem myself. Thanks!!!

Even if it's something as basic as a routine tune up, this service more than pays for itself. Most of the agents are highly experienced and can quickly get issues resolved. Have used it by phone, online remote access and in-store, in-person, depending on the need.

Greek Squad fixed my computer

Was not the same home page. Lost my Title bar which I have to call about to get fixed when I have lots of time from what I hear. Put all my favorites and other items in a folder by themselves so unable to add to Favorites. I had asked when I picked up my computer "everything is still the same?" Was told "yes". NOT!

Better Pricing than Mac!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, I haven't had the need to use my Geek Squad yet, I chose to buy the GS protection plan because the price of one single thing to be fixed without it would nearly be the same price as a year subscription of Geek Squad. If I have multiple problems, I can easily take it to GS and it's covered. I'm happy that I purchased this. Coming from having a Mac, this price is unbeatable.

Expensive

The cursor jumped around and I couldn't access iTunes. They kept it for 3 full days and then I was told that they could fix everything but it would delete everything on it. I asked what could be done about that and was told that the material could be backed up and reinstalled. I said ok will that cost and only then did the girl tell me that this would cost me an additional $85. I was angry at this point. This warranty was already expensive enough.

When I returned I was told to wait & someone would be right with me. Two hours later as I was ready to return my laptop purchase, I was called. By the time all was completed I just wanted out of there, but did not want to be rude to the tech who was explaining the new system as he was not to blame. Not sure I would want to go back if I needed service.

Great for Cleaning Computers

The speak to you, not down to you so even a novice will feel comfortable. It's like having car insurance - very expensive but when you need it it pays off.

Thought all my problems were solved

At the store they said it was their system overloaded with so many computer & gadgets, but when I got it home it is the same problem. The computer is just as slow & is always thinking. I don't know if it is a wireless (AT&T) problem or if they did not completely completely fix my computer. I'm beyond frustrated & have lost a lot of faith in people who are suppose to be helping, especially after spending $200.

I paid for installation of such security in store by Geek Squad. Very confused about reason I received this email. When tried to resolve question by calling Geek Squad was put on hold over 20 minutes for first rep, then transferred to another dept. only waited 20 min before I hung up. No real contact made. Feel should not have to wait that long for this service, that is poor customer service.

I will continue to shop there. Recommend going early if you have a return or geek squad issue to avoid the lines.

The tireless amount of time your people gladly spend with has made owning and using a computer extremely pleasurable. Other technicians, even those for the manufacture except two young ladies, don't even come close to the services I have received from your squad.

Good coverage

After numerous tries from various Geek squad members, problem was semi-completely resolved. Everyone was very congenial throughout the whole process.

Super option for a super price

The price for the Tech Support isn't expensive and if and when a problem arises the Geek Squad is there with all help that you need. They have surprised me with the quality of work and the time that was required to correct any problem from setting up equiptment in my home to "in shop repair".

They've helped me clean up my computers and get them running more efficiently, are there when I have any question or problem. Unless you're a computer geek yourself, I strongly advise purchasing this with any new computer. Get your yearly tuneups and clean up any old computers while you're at it.

Long wait before you speak to an agent

THIS IS NOT TRUE...in a foreign country we can not call an 800 number. So I am not able to use the Geek Squad in South Africa. Expensive purchase

A friend in need

Because it is becoming outdated I feared the worst but your techs brought it back to life. A couple of minor things disappeared, but I if I discover anything important I'll have confidence in your coverage plan. Good job. I have not yet installed your protection software because I'm embedded with Norton. Not that they saved me last time.
