Great customer service in the Lynnwood store

I took my computer into the Lynnwood, WA Best Buy so they could help me with the computer. They were great and knew how to help me.

The team is very helpfuland knowledgable. My only gripe is even with an appointment there may be some waiting for a team member to be available.

Overall, excellent service but a bump or two.

Wait times for an agent to respond are average. I was unfortunate to have back to back "Chat" with an agent dropped via an internet problem. There isn't anything showing that the drop has occurred and this led to an extended wait. I would rate the entire service as excellent without those two incidents

Very helpful with ongoing issue

We worked with at least 4 different Geek squad associates. ALL of them were very helpful. Even though we had to make 7 trips to the store, the problem was finally resolved as a problem with the 'big box power source.' I am very glad we had purchased the Geek squad service contract.

They all are friendly and try hard to please

They do ask each other if they do not know. I bought an Apple computer and although they all know a little about it, most know about PCs much more than they do Apple. It seems that there has been an Apple expert there every time I have been there for them to ask.

repaired computer but still doesn't work right

Geek squad member opened computer up got online and said "okay" but when I got it home I wasn't able to do anything with it. Am returning it for repair again.

It's hard to get hold of somebody, and if you're time on phone is limited, it's frustrating. I personally don't see the need for GS, after first two months.

New Computer issues

We had to have extra help as it was very different than what we had previously. We took it home and it still had problems! The young nan that helped us was knowledgeable and took his time with us! Usually they just say leave it and come back in 4 days. He stuck with it and solved the problem.

Knowledgable techs

His name is Matt and he took his time explaining the laptop we purchased for our grandson. He talked to us at our level and not over our heads. He did not try to up sell us to a more expensive. We told him what it was going to be used for and he pointed us in the right direction. Thanks. Matt

They can go onto your computer with persmission from you. They are courteous and speak in a friendly and hospitable manner. Although they are very knowledgeable, they don't speak in a condesending manner. It's my experience they make you feel comfortable and easy to ask them anything. There is always a resolution.

Great reassurance

Geek Squad helped me fix downloading the wrong program and getting the right one on with dealing with my school, where the program came from. They are friendly and I've never had any issue with taking too long, they have always been on the ball for me!

A necessity for anyone who isn't tech savy

removed the viruses from my computer promptly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I left my computer which would not allow any updates or down loads for less than 48 hours and they loaded the new virus protection and everything seems to be working well. this is good for 3 devices so I added my daughters computer which they accessed remotely and did overhaul in 3 hours.

They do a thorough job, but not always in a timely matter, I more think they need to hire more workers.

A worthwhile investment.

Took it in for diagnostic tests and they found that the hard drive was failing. I had to pay for the hard drive, but there was no charge for the diagnostic tests or the installation of the new hard drive. They installed OS and Virus protection. Very pleased with the service.

I don't think tech support is worth the money

Most support is in the form of videos on the web and I do better with a live person who can answer my questions. I have had tech support for two years and probably won't renew. I asked about coming to my home to help with the TV , which I thought was included with the price and was told it would cost extra so I'm really not sure what I'm paying for besides the yearly check up.

Geek Squad member Dale was great and informative.

He explained every step in terms I could understand. This was done in a timely manor and I have not had any problems with my computer. I do feel like if I do have a problem in the future, I can count on fast service.

Well trained techs to assist customers

No other retailer has this kind of support with any purchases. No hassles, no runaround negative replies to your problems. They want to help get your product back in operation, so you can continue with it's use again. This is good customer relations, and because of this I will continue my purchasing product from Best Buy.
