    Computer had a virus.

    Took the computer in to be fixed due to a virus, waited forverer to talk to someone. Only two people were waiting on customers and when our turn came one of the salesman decided it was time to go to break and left everyone standing there. Not happy about that, then had to schedule and appointment to pickup the computer when ready, get there for my designated time and had to wait 45 minutes to get it.

    Love having them to call on whenever needed. They can take over the computer and do what is needed. Sometimes it takes quite a long time for them to get to your problem.

    Twice I have needed the geek-squad. The first time my touch pad had quit working and I am VERY computer illiterate! I didn't know how to find the mouse and touch pad "menu" or whatever it is called. This computer is very different than my windows 98. The girl had me turn computer off, take battery out then re-start after 2 minutes. Did not solve problem at all. With a little knowledge from my sister I was able to find the "enable touch pad" choice in the mouse menu. The second time I called I couldn't find where or how to open my scanner thru the computer. That girl informed me that I Must be connected to the internet to use my printer. I told her I do not have Internet, I go to the library for that. I told her, that I had been using my printer several times that day I just could not figure out how to locate and open scanner with the layout of Windows 8 (or whatever this new system is). She couldn't believe that I was using a computer that wasn't connected to the internet. Her supervisor was knowledgeable and told me to go to the folder at the bottom of the desktop screen and what to do from there. When I purchased the geek squad protection, I was assured that since I was not real knowledgeable about computers, especially this version, that I would get knowledgeable help on the SIMPLE questions about my new computer. So far it hasn't been that easy to get simple answers on "how-to" use the regular functions of this computer.

    I am not very computer/technology savvy. The have been able to help me with set up issues and a virus issue that I had. The team that help both times have been wonderful. They were very patient with me and both times were able to fix my issues in a very timely manner. I highly recommend the Geek Squad and their services to anyone thinking about buying a computer.

    The Geek Squad personnel have all been very friendly and they have fixed all of my issues with numerous computers and phones. They listen and handle what I ask for and then they look for anything else that looks odd and they fix that too! I have already started recommending them to others.

    I don't know alot about computers, so when I can find something or get stuck, it is very nice to have someone a phone call away to help me out. A lot nicer than always having to bring the unit into the store!!

    I loved that I could get 1:1 service in store when I boght my new laptop and had to transfer data. Unfortunately, the lines to speak to a tech were too long, and making an appointment online didn't always facilitate promptness. When I called the 24/7 phone tech, he didn't know how to address the issue, and I ended up doing it myself after getting off the phone.

    My desk top computer appeared to have a virus. I took it to Best Buy and they cleaned it up, removed two antivirus packages that were on it and loaded a new virus protection software. Everything works great. My laptop was new and didn't come with an internal disk drive. The Geek Squad showed me how to load software onto my laptop. Good job on both computers.

    I purchased the added tech support which was good for 3 computers. They restored my PC and accurately diagnosed and corrected the issues with my wifes' laptop. The virus protection installed on both was good.

    Everyone should purchase this service ! With the virus problems out there, this is like "insurance" for your system. I have used the Geek Squad to tune up my new laptop, and twice had them remove a virus from my son's laptop. All since Christmas ! AND in the comfort of my home when they logged into the laptops over the internet ! Don't leave the store without it !

    My Geek Squad takes fhe scary out of dealing with computer problems. I am a senior, and they make extra effort to explain in words I can understand. They make accurate estimates of the cost before starting work.

    I am their best sales person. No one likes to spend more money when you are buying a computer but this is the best $ you will spend. They are always there to help. They provide honest economically conscious input to solve your problems. I have eliminated countless hours of trying to trouble shoot my computer problems......now I just take to the Geek Squad,

    They came once to see what was the problem and then scheduled a follow up and returned to fix it. We had to wait for some one else to come as we needed two techs to lift it. Which should have been obvious from the trouble shooting visit. They fix edit was nice and we are good again.

    Took an old laptop in for performance clean-up and upgrading. While I am sure that the Geeks did what they could, I did not receive the performance that I expected. Maybe it is time to ditch that old computer.

    I am not you typical computer genius , so to have my probems being solved right over the phone is the best , If nothing it saves me a ton of gas . In all it`s a Cheap Ins. policy for this old lady . I have yet to be disappoined with my dealings with the Geek Squad , and one more thing I can understand everything They say " clearly ".     Great value for the price. All you have to do is call and make an appoitment let them know the problem and drop your computer off. Can add up to 3 computers so it is a great value if you have a lot of devices.

    Sure happy we purchased one year of Geek Squad. Appreciate the technical help received in setting up our new Dell Inspiron Desktop. Techs answered software questions, tuned up the computer, and worked directly logged in to the computer to check issues out, and to perform adjustments. One tech even provided a written report of all the functions performed.

    When I first got my Dell windows 8 pc I needed some help with setting it up and learning how to operate it. The geek squad tech's are absolutely amazing. It is so nice to know that if you don't know something you can just contact the geek squad because they do know. Whatever problem you might have with your pc, they can help you. They are very professional.
