I like having someone to help me understand the new Windows 8. Wait time to talk to someone was long but all of my issues have been resoled. I am a beginner with Windows 8 and it is easier for me to talk to someone rather than try to find the answer online in the instructions for my PC. Price for this service is very reasonable and worth paying a little extra.

I have only used the service to setup a new laptop for my son, however I will be taking in our older laptop in to be cleaned up and hope they live up to the great service they did for us on the 1st laptop.

can't lose,,, beacuse there's no "techie" in the house, we just call or contact BB's Geek squad all the time,,, any issues we have with either our laptop or desk top we can always count on them for support,,,

So far I am very pleased with the help I have gotten from the the Geek Squad. Some of the techs have considerable more knowledge than others, but I guess that is to be expected. We shall see as time goes on.

overall worth the $ to save time and effort and of course frustration. I understand the need to go thru levels of competency based on the difficulty of the problem, but there would be a streamlined process.

Only problem I had so far is when I called and the first guy could not help me out. They than put me on hold for 30 minutes. I just hung up and called back and someone was able to fix the problem right away.

The tech who looked over my son's computer was able to quickly assess the primary issue. Geek Squad cleaned it up in just two days, and the tech who returned the laptop to us explained everything clearly.

I GLAD THAT I GOT THE PROTECTION PLAN BECAUSE AFTER 2 WEEKS OF BUYING MY LAPTOP AT BEST BUY MY NIECE DREW ON MY LAPTOP SCREEN AND THAT CAUSED THE TOUCH SCREEN NOT TO WORK. BEST BUY GEEK SQUAD FIX IT FOR ME.

The Geek Squad does a good job of supporting my small business needs. When I have a computer or printer problem, it is essential that I get it resolved quickly. They do their best for a quick turn around.!

They are so patient with a so not tech-savy person. They were so patient answering all my questions when I picked up my new computer. I even got a Windows 8 mini class from Jerod my Geek Rep. I got a question - I have so many options in person online by the phone 24/7 can't bet that,

After several computer repair fiascos, I finally have someone who takes over my computer and fixes the problems. I never knew this service was available. I have carried my computers to repair locations and brought them home and never had the problem fixed. The Geeks are super efficient, friendly and fix the problems and I don't have to worry any further.

I thought all of the support staff was friendly and welcome our computer problems. Although for one of my computers took several times and return trips before it was completely fixed. But, finally to prevail

I paid for 2 years of Tech Support not one so that is rather frustrating. I think I was under the impression that they were capable of doing more then they actually are able to do. I purchased the tech support due to issues with my computer. They were unable to repair it and refused to look at it any farther. The kid across the street repaired it for me. I think that the Techs are professional, very nice but it is what appears to me an entry level type of position. This is in no way complaints (other then my paying for 2 years) just pointing out there are limits to their abilities.

Was hesitant to purchase it because I can do most of the stuff myself. These guys were so courteous and willing to help with anything, answering questions, whatever you can throw at them. You also get additional services not mentioned in your contract. Well worth the money so you don't have to experience the headache of dealing with the technical issues.

I have only used them once but the member who helped me not only solved the issue within 5 minutes but was able to spend extra time explaining things on my new computer and giving me tips on things i can do including a booklet to explain all the little shortcuts to my computer !

the tec guys are great. they know what they're doing and are able to get the job done quickly. the only problem is there are a lot more of us than there are of them, so---- lines can be long. if you go in knowing this, it's not a problem. if you're unaware that you may have to wait in line for more than an hour though, you may become a little frustrated.

Got a new laptop, took it in to get help installing software and the team so helpful, fast and patient. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone even if you know your way around your technology.

Geeks who actually helped me were very good, but at first a couple of them who were first to attend to me were not so knowledgeable. Otherwise I was very satisfied with the service. I may need more later.

I'm satisfied with instore help. I don't like the help support phone line. Too much red tape to go thru in getting help, and they don't always speak native English so it can be difficult to be understood.

I've called the geek squad several times since purchasing my new computer. each time if felt confident that they did know what they were doing and would get the problem resolved. I felt comfortable working with them, even when they were asked, as I felt, a dumb question. they totally understood. they were very patient during the times I had to call.
