One of the agents suggested that I should get this with my new purchase of a laptop and it was the best thing I could ever purchase it definitely helped me out when I need it my computer and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it

I recently upgraded from my desktop dinosaur to a new laptop. I am back in school and opted to add the extra tech support for a little more piece of mind if any issues should arise. I have used Geek Squad twice just for minor issues and they were great!

My lap top hard drive crashed during factory warrentee. I was told by Toshiba rep it was a software issue not covered under the 1 yr warrentee and would have to pay $99.00 to repair remotely. Geek Squad found the hard drive was defective and sent it to Toshiba to replace under the original warrentee and was sold the tech support for after the OEM warrentee expires which was in less then a month. I have a Geek squad extended 2 yr warrentee but it doe not cover software/virus issues and I had a coupon and decided to purchase it. Now I am covered for my lap top, and any other two electronic items...PC, tablet, etc even if they were not bought at Best buy and out of warrentee. One service call to repair any of these 3 could be the price of the Geek squad warrentee. I won't know if this was worth $199.00 for a year to cover 3 items but I need to wait and see. I always buy all my stuff at Best Buy. Their reps, service, prices, etc are above everyone else's. If all 3 of my chosen electronics do not need service during the year of the 24/7 tech support warrentee, then I spent $199.00 just for peace of mind. This support also includes tune ups which alone are $100.00 and up. At the least I will bring in my lap top, pc, and mac during the year for tune up and get my money's worth. Best Buy rocks !

Best but customer service reps inside the store are always helpful, especially when i don't want to wait for geek squad

I am not a tech person. I alway feel comfortable asking the Geek Squad staff questions. They quickly set up my computer for my needs and are always available after the purchase. I recommend this service for those who are not computer software savvy

We had a computer we thought for sure was dead and we figured with them being inside best buy they would tell us we needed to buy another one but they fixed it for free under our coverage. I will never have a computer not covered by geek squad.

Haven't run into any issues with my software/product yet but the staff are always helpful and it's a great resource to have

Have not ever used the geek coverage before so I hope I didn't throw my hard earned money away. So far they have been helpful.

its great whenever i had issues the geeksquad would help me with most issues and would answer most questions i had havent had any issues with them and its great that im covered by most things since i take my computer almost everywhere with me

I've purchased Geek Squad Tech Support for all my expensive purchases and have no regret whatsoever. Sometimes they take a little longer repairing items than I'd like, but overall, they do a great job and if they can't repair it, they replace it.

Didn't make an appointment in advance, will next time. Service completed in less te than offered. My Yoga 14 is up and running.

I had purchased this after my granddaughter was having an issue with her laptop. I'm so glad I did. The person that helped us was extremely knowledgeable. The laptop was fixed a lot sooner than I imagined it would be. Great Job Geek Squad!!!

I purchased the service to fix a computer. It was repaired temporarily, but quickly didn't work again. I took it back to find out there was no repair for it other than to restore it (which I can do myself). It was to cover 3 computers, but I'm leery of taking others in. So far, I haven't seen the benefit of the service.

With this I know they are there whenever a problem appears.. I bought this for my two sons on their first personal laptops. Better news is that I can use it on my laptop too!!!! worry free that I will be able to get the problem solved!!!

It seemed to make sense to get this coverage for the new laptop, but seemed a bit procey. hopefully won't need to use it.

I got a virus on my laptop and they cleaned it up in ni time. I'm not super computer savvy so they were a lot of help.
