When I first got this unit it did seem to have a smell that I have seen people talk about in reviews but after a few days the air in that room actually smells better. The room I have it in can get to smell stale but now it smells fresher.

The only reason why I rated it 4 stars is because of the noise. The product really works but it is loud on the high setting and the blue uv light is extremely bright! I reviewed a lot of air purifiers before purchasing this one! The expensive ones had horrible reviews! This is great for the price and it truly works!

I'm a dog owner, so my bedroom can smell bad from time to time. This unit works great to eliminate the odor from my bedroom.

This is a good product for those of you who have allergies. Seems to work well. There are times the hum from the machine can seem loud. Also it does put out considerable heat, but both to be expected on a product of this nature.

Germ guardian is very easy to use and very effective. Also very easy to take out filter and replace with a new filter. Cost of filters isn’t too bad especially if you use generic filters.

Works great and I sleep so much better! Easy to clean filter. Would recommend to everyone!

Have allergy's and use to wake up with headaches. Have not had one since we started using this purifier. Only drawback in the winter will be it blows cold air.

Very effective for how affordable it is. It helped get the smell from a local wildfire out of our house.

Excellent purifier!. I can tell the air in my house is cleaner. the fan and motor runs quiet and I've already been running at about 3 months and still have not had to change the filters. Very pleased

This air purifier is exactly what I wanted, such great reviews for a reason. In a house full of animals, this was the perfect bedroom addition- greatly helped with allergies. Noticeable difference for me, need to buy more for other rooms in the house!

I have a kitten with respiratory issues along with very bad Spring allergies myself. I bought my kitten and I a humidifier, but decided a purifier would be best to use in conjunction with the humidifier. When I got the Germgaurdian purifier, I was already feeling good when I opened the box and was greeted to a big Thank You card from the manufacturer. Set-up was very simple and the device looked sturdy. Has been working well since and has cleared up my allergies substantially; I went from sneezing five times in a row multiple times a day to not even sneezing once if I am in my room with this purifier. My kitten loves it and I have also noticed subtle breathing improvements for her as well. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has pets or allergies.

I purchased this Air Purifier to deodorize the air near our puppy pad. It works like a charm. In fact, I purchased the table-sized model for my daughter and daughter-in-law for their pet areas. I hate to have to buy filters for it, but since it works so well, I will do so.

I bought this from Best Buy after reading some reviews online. My husband has allergies and asthma which especially bother him during the warmer months-- so much so that he wakes up with coughing and wheezing in the middle of the night. I bought this hoping it would help and it has helped a LOT! He's only woken up in the middle of the night to use his inhaler once in the past 2 months when it used to be every night. This was definitely worth the money, in fact, I'd like to eventually get a second one for our livingroom as well!

This air purifier works great. I have a large master bedroom which other spot air purifiers did not work well enough. This air purifier covers the whole room and I no longer have allergies, plus, the room smells cleaner as well.

Best buy for my money can't ask for more Just what I was looking for use it everyday
