Every since I started using this in my room, it has lowered my allergic outbreaks and has helped with greatly reducing asthma attacks.

Read a few of the reviews of this online and on best buy. They scared me a little bit, but I think the issue is more about using it for the properly sized room. I have a small 12x13 bedroom and this works great for it. I had it run on high for about 3 hours with the door closed and it smelled great. Not sure about that "ozone" smell people keep talking about. It just smells clean to me - like walking into a department store first thing after they open. I've had it running a few days now with periods of inactivity, and it's holding strong. I checked the filter and it's pretty clean so far. But it's only been 4 days.

Definitely makes difference with the air within the room. We placed it in our hallway closer to the Bathroom and Removed some Oder.

Our home flooded so we bought three of these to clear out the must and dirty air to put it in simple terms. This purifier came ready out of the box and has been a hoss. These are perfect for bedrooms. My son was coughing a lot and ever since we got these he's been better. A+ in my book.

I use it in my master bedroom at night because I have trouble breathing once I lay in bed. Turn this thing on, turn on the UV and I sleep great and I don't wake up feeling all congested and stuffy in the morning either. Turning on the UV turns on the blue UV light and it gives off a night light like glow that I don't imagine would bother most. On high it is loud but medium if fine for background white noise and low is almost inaudible. I paired this with a humidifier as well from the same brand and I haven't felt better while falling asleep or when I wake up in quite a long time. It works well to filter the air in my master bedroom, haven't tried it in a larger space though. Would recommend this to anyone.

Works just as described. This is an excellent product. It is really quiet; sometimes I forget it is on. I noticed a decrease in dust accumulation on the furniture in the room I had it in, and I did not have to dust as often.

Bought the GermGuardian - 3-in-1 True HEPA Air Purifier - Gray for my daughter who is away at college. She kept having problems with what appeared to be a persistent cold that she just could not get rid of. Since she started using the GermGuardian in mid March; her cold symptoms have gone away and both her and roommate feel like the air in their dorm room is cleaner and the room even smells better. We are considering buying two more for our bedrooms at home. Definitely recommend.

This seems to do the job of cleaning the air. I run it a lot because of cigarette smoke and cat dander. The air is definitely fresher.

I have major dust allergies (among lots of other annoying ones) and this pulls so much junk out of the air--it's amazing. I used to wake up every morning with a stuffy nose and feeling terrible for at least an hour or so. Now that never happens. (and yes, I have always had allergy filters in our main air system.) It's also just quiet enough to act as a white noise filter. One in my room, one in the living room or hallway. Love it!

This air purifier does a good job sucking in all the dust in a room. It's quiet and doesn't take up a lot of space.

Pros: Leaves a good clean smell to the room. Helps with dust and allergens Cons: The highest setting has a moderate amount of noise to it. If not used for some time the air might smell a bit odd for the first few minutes.

Love it. Can breathe easy at night and also gives added bonus of having a low humming noise so I don't need my white noise machine :) Heads up - there will be an odd smell the first couple of nights, but that goes away.

I bought this air purifier to run in my children's room, as both have bronchial asthma, exacerbated by seasonal allergies. Over the course of this spring, as different allergens have wreaked havoc on most everyone I know, my kids have risen every morning with clear sinuses. I run it on the highest speed setting, which generates some sound, but in a kid's room, it just serves as a good buffer from the other sounds that could keep them up at night. I'd say it's no louder than a normal fan at mid-range speeds.

I suffer from allergies due to both animals and mildew in the house and putting this purifier in my bedroom has helped immensely. Would recommend and the family is currently planning to get one or two more of the unit!

LOVE THIS!! It really does the job. My daughter has really bad allergies and it would be so bad where it would make her cough at night. I tried an air purifier as a last resort because i know how expensive they were. I found this one Best Buy and the price was AMAZING! It completely obliterated her cough and her allergies are much better where she no longer needs Zyrtec at night. I will bye another one of these.

Super quiet and efficient and has uv light. Worked great whole my wall was being repaired for mold.

We bought this because we have 4 dogs that sleep in our bedroom & they can get stinky!! This unit made a huge difference within hours of plugging it in. The filter seems to be lasting longer than we expected as well.

I did not know much about air purifiers but after choosing the one I thought would be best I can know notice a huge difference in the quality of air in my home.

I grew up in a coal mine in West Virginia where clean air was unheard of. Due to our current living conditions we are back in the same situation. Our family dog has noxious gas... This device has brought her emissions down to California safe levels while helping with our allergies and airborne dust particles. Recommend if you have dust, pet, and seasonal allergies.
