Can't tell the difference in air quality though. Only time will tell

The reviews were good, but the product didn't meet our expectations. It never did take care of the pet smells and it didn't seem to make any difference with the dust/allergens that were in the room. We returned the product.

Seems like it isn't doing a lot. Also a little on the loud side.

I still have problems with my allergies use daily.

Its a good starter air purifier. It is a bit loud.

I have no idea why I bought this item. I thought that it magically would also clean my room from dust collection... but after you do a reality check you just bought the fan from your car and installed it in your room. (this review applies to all air purifiers, Germ guardian gets 5 stars for the design)

Not loud but can't tell difference with air quality

This air purifier worked well for the first month, then it began emitting a strong odor. Now, I only use it when I'm at work. When I return home, I turn it off and spray air freshener. The filter cleaning light is not yet on. I've tried running it with and without the UV light and all speeds. Also, I've read several places that air may pass through the UV too fast to actually kill anything, but I still turn on the light when the speed is on low just in case it helps. In general, I would never buy this again because the smell can get to be overwhelming if I leave it on for too long. If I'm gone 12+ hours, I have to spray my whole apartment. I don't dare run this if I'm away for the weekend.

The fan is a bit noisy even at the lowest speed. After 2 days of running, started hearing funny noise. Sounds like metal grinding noise. Returned it.

Worked well for the first month, then the burn smell began. Tried turning off the UV filter, the smell continues. I hate the fact that I need to ship it for warranty support on my own dime.

I have not been able to see a difference in dust or my allergies. I even came home today and it smells like sewer all a sudden and I run it on high all the time.

Finally after reading lot of reviews and suffering from allergies for almost 3 months into this terrible weather of NY, i finally decided to buy this purifier. I was a little cautious as some customers complained about having problem with some units, so i decided to go to store instead ordering online. While in store I asked the representative to turn it on for me so that I dont have to return from home. Out of the box, just plug it in and and is ready to go. Has 3 settings i,ii and iii. III is slightly louder but at I and II you wont even know if its on. We have a closed living room area and my wife loves to cook and fry things. So she decided to cook as soon as I turn the unit on. And we couldnt appreciate smell of cooked food where the unit was placed and as soon as she turned off the stove we couldnt even smell in rest of the living room area (my living room is approx 500 sq feet). Next morning I woke up without having to sneeze or having a stuffed nose (something very unusual for me). My son suffers from similar issues and he gets frequently sick (almost every month). I am hoping that this unit will continue to impact our life positively

Broke after using for a month wouldnt honor the warranty. Waste of money

We tried this one, after reading the reviews. It just didn't take care of the pet smells and dust, so we returned it.

1st one was a small $30.00 unit that would clean a room in half the time as this unit.

If i wanted clean air then maybe i out should live in a bubble

Returned the product due to no change in the air quality.

It looks great but doesn't work so good. Only for a small space.

Was expensive and for the price i didnt expect the squeal. Had a vibrating noise also every minute or so like something was off. I like white noise when i sleep but this didnt cut it, to high pitch. Took it back and bought a cheaper one with a deeper fan like sound from Holmes.
