It is a lot louder than the larger Insignia purifier in another room, and I couldn't tell that it was helping the air quality much. I returned it and bought another Insignia.

It has worked out very well for me and enhances my breathing and sleeping. Now that I am working from home I pretty much use it all day and night. I hZvd tried other units and they have not worked as well as this one has.
