Can’t really tell if this thing is doing the job. It also blows air out at an angle and not straightforward which is kind of weird.

It’s ok. It blew a lot of cold air out. I didn’t notice a big difference in the air quality in the room that I had it placed in.

Based on all the weeds outside, this seems to be keeping the allergens inside down to a minimum. It does make a noticable noise.

Unfortunately, the unit is extremely loud and it takes quite some time to get rid of odors.

Funky oder, hard to tell if its helping the air quality. Still use it when I'm in the office though.

i have serious allergies and live in a very humid area. i still have serious allergies and do not notice a difference in the air quality or smell.

I bought this with the intention of clearing out smoke.. not really sure if it works

Pretty decent machine for a bedroom. Great to also know it has UV technology in these crazy times!

It would have been better to save money and get a better one that is more expensive later

It's ok for small rooms if you need more coverage get the bigger one.

This does a good job but it is very loud and noisy.

So to start things out, recently I was looking for an air purifying unit for my apartment, which is 600 sq. ft. I sifted through many reviews, and finally went with the relatively inexpensive Germ Guardian Tabletop model. I didn't really know what to expect since I had never owned an air purifier. Well, all I have to say is that I'm surprised. This little (relatively speaking, it's kind of big, and definitely needs a sort of flattop surface to fit on) guy does its job just like it should: purifies the air, keeps odors at bay (somewhat), and kills germs (I'm not really sure about this one). One can definitely feel the difference between a room with the air purifier running vs. one without. You will really notice the difference when sleeping. This is my biggest joy out of the air purifier. When used throughout the night, I sleep un-congested, can breathe loads better, and wake up without any discomfort in my throat or mouth. Plus, I have two cats, and I feel it does an adequate job of controlling some of the dust associated with them. Now, my only con is the whole odor thing. It does an okay job of odor control, but if I cook something, and flip this bad boy on high (3 settings), it will still take some time to actually affect any of the smell. I'm going to be purchasing another one of the tabletop models, or the 22" standing model, along with the portable purifier for the bathroom so that all of my room are covered throughout my place. Overall, impressive product.

It works ok, but I’d recommend a bigger one for anything other than a SMALL room.

This product only works in small spaces. Go for a bigger one if possible.

Not a heavy duty purifier but works OK for its size.

Because of the reviews here, I decided to buy this tabletop purifier.....the very first day i turned it on I GOT THE WORST SNEEZING/ALLERGY EVER........I DECIDED TO NOT USE IT FOR 2 DAYS...THE ALLERGY, SNEEZING/RUNNING NOSE STOPPED....AFTER ONE WEEK THAT I AM OK, I TURNED IT ON AGAIN..........THE WHOLE NIGHT I WAS SLEEPING WITH IT.....OH MY GOODNESS.....I HAD A CONGESTED NOSE? THE IS WRONG WITH THIS PRODUCT? I DO NOT KNOW IF I CAN RETURN THIS AS I DISPOSED OF THE BOX.....BUT I THINK I'M JUST GOING TO DUMPED IT SO NO ONE WILL SUFFER.....DO NOT BUY, PLEASE...AND PEOPLE, PLEASE MAKE A TRUTHFUL REVIEW.........PLEASE, PLEASE.....

Currently is helping to control the basement odor.

I can’t really tell if It makes a difference in the air quality. I think it was too pricey.
