Game Changer for Fitness and Cost

The Fitness+ app has a ton of great workouts to improve your overall health. It is in its infant stage but knowing Apple it can only get better. For years I have gone to the gym, but since the pandemic I have created my own little gym inside my house with yoga mats, free weights, bands and a Bosu ball. With the Fitness+ app it has changed the game. For a great experience I paired my Apple watch with my Apple TV, I can now use the Fitness+ to watch workout videos though my TV and follow all the stats. In addition, I am paying a third of what my gym membership was costing me. I am also in the process if buy a Schwinn IC4 Indoor Cycling Bike and utilize my iPad to achieve the cycling workouts. At $9.99 a month compared to Peloton’s $40 is a no brainer. I could easily afford the Peloton system, but we are talking about workout gear here.

Similar to other fitness apps, however I feel like it was comparable to Nike’s free fitness app services so I did not see justification to pay for this.

    Variety of classes and trainers

I’ve been using fitness+ for about 9 months and have been enjoying the classes. There’s a variety of trainers so you can find one that’s personality you like best for your classes. They offer modifications for exercises depending on your fitness level as well as different length classes. Plus they’re always updating new workouts most recently adding Pilates and meditation classes. I signed up for the year to save $40 vs the monthly $10. Overall I think if you have an Apple Watch and aren’t quite ready to go back to the gym I think this is good value. My only wish is you could cast it from your phone and still have your workout rings show up. An Apple TV will give you the best experience.

I paired this subscription up with my new Apple Watch. Classes are pretty good and they keep adding more almost ever week. I mainly log in to do cycling and hit workouts. Great option for people with a busy schedule, (I can workout on my stationary bike while my kids in 6th, 4th and kindergarten do remote work for school) or for people who rather the privacy of their home rather than a gym. The best thing is that I got rid of my Spotify subscription and joined Apple One which bundles, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple News, Fitness Plus and iCloud Services for $30!! Icing on the cake is that all subscriptions are shareable in your family group!

    Love my Watch

Coming from an Apple Watch Series 3 GPS plus LTE, the pressing of the crown feels and sounds different. I do think it has the same things I like, like Walkie Talkie, and has a whole lot more like a bunch of face watches. Like a bunch and free. It has the blood pressure monitor and heart rate monitor. The screen looks a bit different. Only of you look at it very deeply and looks a bit on the lesser quality. (Cheaper type) even smaller but not by much. Any regular person would not even notice. The watch bands go in very easily and comes out easily. Love that part. I overall would recommend this because it works great and I am happy I traded in my last watch at Best Buy and bought this new one.

You need and Apple Watch. I got a free trial when purchasing my watch. I love how there are different types of work outs that you can do at home like core and strength training. It’s cool that you can see your heart rate on the screen as you work out. You can also sort by time and various difficulties. The trainers are cool and very professional and the workouts feature some good music. I must say that I was pretty sore after my first session but I’m hoping to stick with it going into the New Year.

On last Sunday morning we were in town for a family emergency. Our iPhone went into the disabled mode. We were advised at AT&T to go to Best Buy. We had a young man by the name of Paul to help us. On his third try he was successful with our phone. Paul kept us updated on the progress several times and assured us that he hadn’t given up. This young man deserves Recognition. He showed that customer satisfaction was important to him and to us. Thank you again Paul!!! You’ll never know how much you helped us.

You cannot beat this. All my workouts are now tracked on phone and they sync with Virgin Pulse App for fitness points. The work out summary details are in Apple Health app and based on the videos I accessed Apple suggests me something similar or more preferred via mailers. There are hundreds of options to chose from - light work out, relaxation yoga or even HIIT. you name it and they have it. I really wish they had a section on body weight exercises too, as their strengthening exercises are all with Gym equipment.

This is a great home gym app. I bought a rowing machine recently and this app maximizes my work out. It also balances your training with core, strength, cooldown, and various cardio exercises. My only recommendations are to create your personalized music workout playlist instead of the built-in songs, and make a workout list where your selected workout has the option to play after your previous workout. The Fitness+ subscription and app has improved my work-life balance, and health

I enjoyed Apple fitness during my trial. The classes were entertaining, got my heart rate up and the sync with the Apple Watch was fabulous. The price is good too compared to some competitors. I’d consider subscribing again in the future solely bc of the great integrations with the watch. If not for the Apple Watch integration, I could probably just watch a workout video on YouTube and get the same variety of exercises to try for free.
