I’ve had this watch for a while. I’ve done a few marathons and 5K I like the watch.

I enjoy the Apple fitness app very much! It keeps track of my daily steps and workouts.

Using this past one and half years without any issue. It is reliable and nice to have. I don’t use all the features though.

My initial impression of Fitness+ was negative based on the instructors. Several are overbearing and there is definitely a lot of scripting by Apple to get this effect. Some people may like it; I do not. This is going to be preference though. I was able to find some instructors that I could tolerate. I’m sure most of them aren’t even that annoying In real life as it is clearly scripted. On a positive note, the polish Apple is going for ends up in well edited videos where you don’t have to get confused if the instructor makes a mistake... Apple will edit that out and it will never happen. As for music... this tries to be a Trojan horse for Apple Music and I could do without that. Not a game breaker though. The music they choose usually does nothing for me. It’s all hip and young, two things that I am not. They always talk about how great the music is at least once in the video... Just let me choose my own music *sigh* For all its faults, Fitness+ has grown on me primarily because I need guided workouts so badly. I’m just not familiar enough with various exercises to go it alone. The workouts are varied and well demonstrated if not always explained well enough (warning against bad form and common mistakes would be appreciated). You know Apple has screened the instructors so you’re not going to get a guy who’s going to have you do dangerous exercises. The level is also fairly vigorous without being impossible, but it would be nice if they categorized them into difficulty levels. Ultimately, you’re here to get fit and this will help, even if the polish Apple incessantly puts on everything it does comes off as annoying.
