I was a fan of the TV show and naturally went to see this in theaters. It is a genuinely funny film. The video is great, but the audio leaves something to be desired. There have been great dolby digital tracks that have out performed some TrueHD tracks. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them. So the audio is nothing to get excited over. This Blu-ray set has tons of special features. In fact, it is a 3 disc set. One disc is devoted exclusively to Digital Copy, and the other to a rather elaborate Blu-ray-exclusive DVD game. All of the special features are in standard definition, which is a shame. All in all, fans of the movie will like this one.

We went and saw this in theaters, and both my girlfriend and I had a great time. This movie had some great acting to move it along, and although the plot wasn't all that special and somewhat predictable, it didn't ruin the movie in the least bit. Most of this was due to the humor that Carrell provides the entire movie. It worked well with the other characters he surrounded himself with since he was the bumbling idiot while everyone else were the top in the field. The action was alright, nothing special, but its a comedy and not an action film in the least. Definately a movie everyone can enjoy.

from the start to finish just like a episode of the tv series. getting all the gags doors, telephone booth, cos, shoe phone "one of the 1st cell phones", agents, and catch pharses..missed it by this much. I was superied by all of the big actors and comedians in the the movie doing cameo appearance.. i almost missed Bill Murray as Agent 13 . and the war room .. they did a good modern day version of the tv show into a movie. steve carell excellent in the roll of maxwell smart he played it great well worth the price and a very re watchable movie

I was beginning to stall on Steve Carrell movies and didn't expect this to be all that funny. Wrong. Great play b/t the characters (I always liked Alan Arkin) and Anne Hathaway was beautiful. The Rock was funny, and so was Terence Stamp (another favorite). This movie hit on all cylinders. I was looking forward to another chapter, but haven't heard if that is happening. Dalip Singh is one big dude (his handshake in MacGruber was hilarious).

We missed this movie when it was at the theater but it was on sale so we decided to give it a whirl. Neither of us was a big Anne Hathaway fan before this but this changed our opinion of her. Steve Carell reminds us of Don Adams (from the series Get Smart) without copying him and Anne Hathaway is funny and sweet. It is worth watching this funny movie, especially if you were a fan of the TV show - it is nostalgic and entertaining.

Great movie for Fans of the original TV series and those new to Get Smart as well. "The Rock" shines in his role as a gorgeous agent + Masi Oka (Hiro from tv's Heroes) also steals the spotlight as part of the loveable team of techies 'Bruce and Lloyd'. The Blu Ray picture quality is clear and the special features are fabulous for those of us who enjoy a peek at what goes on behind the scenes (esp. the many featurettes with Steve Carell).

While there's nothing great about this movie, its simple just entertaining and has brought me back for multiple viewings. The acting is good and there are enough scenes that will still make you laugh even after you've seen it a few times. If your a fan of any of these actors or just in the mood for a laugh, give this movie a try.

I absolutely loved this movie. I saw it twice in the theater, which I rarely do. Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway are flawless and hysterical. I watched the show some as a kid and I don't remember much of it, but Steve did a perfect job of making the role an homage without trying to be exactly the same. There are also some of the same actors and producers as the original. Buy this movie!

This movie movie will make you laugh out loud. It is about 2 secret agents going out on a mission. I could explain alot more but to sum it up this is a great movie. You can go into Google and type in.....imbd get smart.....and it will tell you basically everything you need to know about it and more.

this movie will leave you laughing from start to finish. The plot line is quite the same as the original TV show, with a few differences that can bring in the younger generation to what you remember. The differences between BD and regular DVD are quite a bit. As well as with the extra's.

Decently funny comedy. Steve Carell and his co-actress do a great job, but the plot itself is a bit underdeveloped. The first half is way funnier than the second when the film tries to add some element of seriousness to itself.

All I have to say is, " 'Woah! Are you thinking what I'm thinking?!' 'I don't know! Are you thinking, "Holy S***! Holy S***! A swordfish almost went through my head!" ' " Haha!! Best line in the movie!

I just watched this movie and I thought that it was very funny. I couldn't stop laughing throughout the movie. It had lots of action and drama. I think that this is a great movie to be watched.

Get Smart is hilarious. Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway are very good actors. I love this movie so much!!!!!!! All I can say about it that wasn't so great was that it was a little inapropiate.

Very funny movie. Sometimes you lose track of the plot, but that is because you are overcome by the humor. If you are a Steve Carell fan, you should see this movie.

Steve Carell never fails in roles like this. The chemistry between the cast is great & the plot allows for some good laughs no matter how many times you watch it.

If you didn't love this movie,you have bad taste for whats great!! ABSOLUTELY 5 STARS ! Loved the 60's series and this movie!

The movie was very entertaining. I enjoyed the goofy antics of Steve Carell counterbalanced by Hathaway's clever problem solving. Classic.

Great Movie. Casting, acting, editing, story and cinematography are all top notch. Will watch over and over again.
