A great minor but great upgrade for 4K users who love this film. Color is the biggest benefit but if you sit very close to your 4K set, you will notice an instant upgrade in clarity as well.

I hadn't seen this movie, and I wanted to fallow up with the anime show as much as the Hollywood movie, and so why not watch it in 4k, got it at a great price, so it was worth it

This is a great movie (last saw it on DVD) so I can't really complain about the blu-ray. However there are no extras included (just the movie). I think the video quality is better than the DVD but don't expect an amazing upgrade. It helped that the disc wasn't that expensive.

Ghost in the Shell is by far one of the coolest anime movies. If you're a fan of Akira or Spriggan, this movie is right up your alley. This movie was also a huge inspiration for The Matrix, so if you like any of the movies listed, you'll probably like this one as well! The only complaint is that the re-master wasn't really much of a re-master at all. I felt the HD wasn't really great and felt like it was a very polished DVD quality.

Been waiting forever for the right version of this movie to come out and they nailed it. way ahead of its time when it originally came out. Great animation and story all refreshed and clean looking.

Ghost in the shell is probably one of the most iconic anime films ever made. It looks great in 4k even though its an older film and this beautiful steelbook is the icing on the cake. If you're in to anime buy it!

Love this movie, have the DVD and blu ray but when I saw it was released in 4K had to get it. Enjoy the style and world with a great story to boot. If you enjoy this movie I recommend stand alone complex.

Great movie and a must watch. One of the most influential anime films there is. The steelbook is very nice and looks good with all my others. Video and audio are good as expected. Very happy with this product.

Love anime love the brand new 4k steelbook had to have it and upgrade my original 10 year anniversary blu ray copy I have 2 copies of the live action version and now the original Blu ray and steelbook

Best anime ever.. of course next to Akira this movie started it all. The best cast, voices, art and music. This is the GOAT of anime.

This is a Grade A steelbook. My first Mondo Steelbook and it's amazing. It come with a slipcover that is transparent except with the Mondo branding and the film's title in the center. It's great artwork. As for the movie, it's a classic and a must watch for any anime fan.

This anime shows what anime can do. It's an amazing sci fi movie its intriguing, the animation looks incredible so if you like sci fi and is one of the best animes you should see this movie i recommend it

The packaging design is Gorgeous, and the price was great too! I won't review the movie itself, since there are different versions; and I have yet to see which one this is. For the price, it couldn't be beat.

This is a great movie for anyone who likes sci-fi. Its ahead of its time for for its animation and futuristic story for when it what made i would call it a pioneer of sci-fi.

Great movie. I don't care for Anime, for the most part, but this, Akira and Vampire Hunter D are all movies I could watch over and over. Nice steelbook and glad they included a slipcover to protect the steelbook (wish they would do that on every steelbook release).

Nothing short of Beautiful - animation, story, characters, world-building, and commentary. If looking for classic anime or maybe you just want to get your feet wet, start with Ghost in the Shell.

I am a huge anine fan and this franchise stole my heart back when it came out. Love the series and the movies especially this classic right here. If you have never heard of it until now (because of the live action movie that is coming out) I highly recommend you do!

I was blown away when I saw this film as a kid, and I'm still blown away by it. The music, designs, themes, characters, etc. set a standard that sci-fi films have been influenced by or outright copied since its release. It's the animated equivalent of BladeRunner.

I grew up as a kid watching Ghost in the Shell and it became one of my favorite anime. Ghost in the Shell in 4K looks amazing and the steelbook just makes it even better. I highly recommend this item!
