If you are new to Anime, Ghost in the Shell is one of the most iconic movies of them. It is also one of the most visionary sci-fi movies of all time. You will be amazed on how beautiful is animated. I truly recommend. Five Stars.

This steelbook is amazing and it’s only 10 dollars in writing this review . One of the best anime movies of all time by far .

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is the original unaltered version. It is not the version with the CGI. Finally they released the original on bluray. No special features but it is totally fine with me.

Doesn’t Seems like an anime from 1996. It looks fantastic., it’s a great looking 4k and I hope there are more to come. The sound quality was also really good

.. at a fraction of the cost of importing the same version from the UK. And I don't know if that one is playable in the US or not. Happy to finally have a steelbook edition of this classic anime film in my collection!

Beautiful looking and a pioneer in anime. One of the first anime movies I’ve watched in the likes of Akira, ninja scroll, and fist of the North Star.

Already had the mondo Steelbook but had to get this one it’s too cool looking to pass up. Love the new slipcover Best Buy is doing on some Steelbooks now.

I really liked this movie. So many years later after buying it on vhs I bought it on 4k blue ray. Now the picture looks better. Magic.

I have this movie in vhs I wanted a DVD version plus at the time the live action film of this movie was getting ready to hit the theater. I have always enjoyed this movies as well as any series related to it

This movie was released many years before the show of the same name but introduced the themes and concepts expanded upon in the series. The only complaint some might have with this release is that the audio for the Japanese track is not as good as the English track but if you are watching the movie dubbed then there is no issue.

The slip cover and steel bookcase combine for a nice piece of ghost in the shell art and the movie is an anime classic worth owning on physical media.

This Anime movie, is great, although the plot is a little complicated and might need to watch a few times to really understand it, its worth checking out, specially since the live action movie is coming out.

This one of the most stylish steelbook designs I’ve seen. Bought it for that reason and also because this is one of the pioneering titles of anime.

This is one of the all time best anime ever produced. If you've never watched anime before, this is one of a select few titles that I would recommend to anyone. Think Law & Order mixed with Blade Runner.

Wonderfully visualized steelbook. Transfer is the best the movie has ever looked. Even though animation this old can only look so good, it is REALLY good.

Amazing movie. Looks pretty solid. It’s still an older anime so don’t expect My Hero or Attack on Titan Visuals. Overall good pick up for the price.
