A great movie from back in the day. Great gift for my teenager son

I love this anime so much. The animation is breathtaking and he soundtrack gives me goosebumps. Would totally recommend to anyone who is slightly interested in anime.

Grew up enjoying Anime and this was one of the originals that I remembering watching and enjoying as a kid.

This is the one that started it all. The only other anime that blew up in the US before this one was Akira. For anybody who wants to get into Anime, see this movie first.

Beautiful art work for a steel book! It's a very good homage a real anime classic. Definitely well worth the purchase.

Great animation and story line. Makes you wonder about AI and spontaneous conscience occurring in the "net" of this story line. Interesting vision of a Sci-Fi future.

Turns out this is a cult movie of sorts for its quality in graphics , along with the consequences of exploiting artificial intelligence Corruption , greed and world dominance set off a humanoid female special agent to thwart and capture the mysterious , unknown mastermind.

Packaging seemed fine when in shrink wrap but seem was split upon opening. Other than that this is an amazing edition!

I know it's already been so old but it is still good enough to watch. Also, a movie version will be released next month so you can compare this animation and the movie.

SciFi classic, everyone should watch it. Especially anime fans.

A must watch and have on bluray. There are 3 movies considered to be a must watch in the anime genre. Akira, Ghost in the Shell and Alita: Battle Angel. Watch all three!!

Legit well done steelbook. Looks cool, whoever designs Best Buys steelbooks has been doing great. Solid 4k transfer

It is the original movie all in original splendor. No 2.0 cgi garbage. The sound was ok and the transfer to bluray was sub par in my opinion. For the die hard GITS fan.

Once i saw the movir for the first time this year i had ro have it. The visuals are stunning and for that i just had to get the bluray. Remindes me of the details of akira.

This is the movie that launched a animated tv series and a ne action movie later in 2017. No digital copy code, and not for young kids, but everyone else will love it.

Purchased this for the steelbook art. The movie is highly rated on other movie review sites. Wouldn't trade it
