I am a huge anine fan and this franchise stole my heart back when it came out. Love the series and the movies especially this classic right here. If you have never heard of it until now (because of the live action movie that is coming out) I highly recommend you do!

I was blown away when I saw this film as a kid, and I'm still blown away by it. The music, designs, themes, characters, etc. set a standard that sci-fi films have been influenced by or outright copied since its release. It's the animated equivalent of BladeRunner.

No new special features to be had here with this edition. Just different artwork than the previously released steelbook. Personal taste will make the decision here. And avoid the live action version out there at all costs. Stick with the original anime here.

Copped this steelbook for a solid price. Lionsgate killed it with the design; and it was in great condtion. Nice

A fantastic movie, looking at a technology-enhanced future and the consequences therein. Great story, cool ideas, and fantastic execution. If you like anime or hypothetical futures, you'll love this movie.

A classic anime for adults in 4K. The quality is excelent and comes with a steelcase. It is a great anime for adults with a very mature story. Recommended to anyone, anime and non anime lovers.

This movie is phenomenal. The animation, world building and overall story still hold up today. If you love animation/anime/sci-fi this movie is worth your time.

If you're a fan of this film I suggest you go and purchase this in 4K it's a big upgrade compared to the Blu-ray better detail ,shadowing all-around a much better picture I commend this .enjoy

Such a great way to revisit this movie. 4k and Atmos release allowed me to harnesses a bigger AV budget as I got older and become enveloped in the artistic and musical wonderment.

Ghost in the Shell is a classic that is so worth it to see in 4k! This is a great addition to my video library. Story holds up and it looks amazing remastered.

first off if you love anime then this is the one that started it all! this is a classic anime movie which developed into a series .... very futuristic and ahead of its time ! this is a must have for your anime collection! and also has great special features !

This is personally my 3rd favorite anime film of ALLTIME so I don’t mind owning multiple copies of it. This is absolutely a must own if your interested in anime, it’s also one a the ALLTIME greats.

This is the best version to watch this classic Anime. I'm glad that both original Japanese and English dubbed versions were included in Dolby Atmos. I would buy this just for the packaging alone!

I watched Ghost in the Shell for the first time over 20 years ago. Rewatching it now in 4k Ultra HD feels like the first time I viewed it as a kid. Pair with an OLED for maximum enjoyment.

For some reason or another, this review is under the DVD when in reality I have the steelbook blu-ray. I have held off on buying this movie just because I have been waiting until they release both Ghost in the Shell with its 2.0 release (don't know why they haven't for any good reason). I like steelbooks, however, so I splurged. I would much rather buy the original release than the 2.0, FYI.

If you haven't seen Ghost in the Shell, I highly recommend you give it a shot. It is a masterpiece and one of the most talked about animes in history. I can't explain the plot but now on blu ray, this is the best way to experience it.

Ghost in the Shell is a classic anime title that holds its weight to this day. The 4k transfer of this looks pretty great and I saw no issues with it.

This was my very first time watching this fantastic cyber punk anime movie and it truly is amazing. So if you are waiting for the new Cyber Punk video game to come out this will hold you over.

Innovative and thrilling ride through this alternate existence. This may be the greatest anime film ever made. Great artwork on this steelbook collectable.
