Great movie and the packaging is Mondo greatness. There are a whole bunch of other Mondo steelbooks that I now have to get, lol. Pick this one up if you dont already have a copy or if you like cool steelbooks. 10/10 papa bless

Found this gem for $7 and had to nab it. I love Ghost in the Shell and with the new live action film coming out this month, this blu ray is a great way to introduce folks to the source material with a price that eliminates excuses.

I love the Ghost in the Shell franchise, to me its like the Terminator - they could make a bomb and i would still like it just because I love the Franchise of it.....soooo when it comes down to it, you could say my views on this movie are skewed because i will like it regardless of what someone else would think even if it wanst well made.

Another amazing 25th Anniversary steel book to add to the collection! Been a fan for years of this show and a 4k rework with a steel book at these prices is a no brainer.

If you're looking for a Japanese animated movie that has a very good Dolby Atmos remix then look no further. But as a movie, this didn't wow me when I first saw this in the theatre oh so many years ago, and the second time, left me a bit indifferent

I’ve always loved this anime movie the first time I bought this movie was on laserdisc back in the 90s.ijust bought it on 4k but I really wasn’t impressed with it as far as picture quality stick with the bluray version.still a great movie and the soundtrack was improved.

I never heard of this anime before but watching the movie kinda makes you think about everything.

This Limited addition steel book it's a great first of this film. Comes with the digital copy as well. The artwork on the steel book is pretty awesome, also comes with a clear sleeve which is nice. Overall it's pretty great

Amazing 4K version of an anime classic!! The restoration makes it look brand new! Beautiful steel book that unfortunately had a few dings. Still a beautiful steelbook!

There's still a fair amount of film grain, but the film looks great - as good as when I saw it in a theater in '96! Considering I once spent $200 to buy the Japanese import LaserDisc box set, this UltraHD (which looks far better) version is a STEAL!

This is classic Manga story, but the video was clearer, sharper and the colors more vivid than I have seen elsewhere. This what the Scarlette Johanson movie was based on.

I like stories that make one think. This one does it really well. What makes a human a human andnwhen does that human cease to exist. Also what limits should we place on ourselves when it comes trying to make ourselves better?

To me, GITS seemed like two movies. One is an exciting action film, the other is a philosophical discussion on what it means to be human after being saturated by technology. While there are some interesting characters, the film really about deconstructing the post modern world.

Groundbreaking film made cooler in 4K. The colors really jump off the screen and the 4K and HDR really make this SCifi adventure even more fun. A must have

When I saw the steel book on bestbuy I knew I had to have it. Its so cool and the transparent slip case makes this package even better. The movie looks amazing on 4k too.

Nice looking Steelbook, surprised Best Buy carried this classic 90's anime, kinda rare, have only seen it online so if you see it in store, pick it up! Kind of a flat finish, would have preferred a gloss but oh well, happy to own it.

One of my all time favorite films,and I was very happy to find it on 4K. It being a steelbook with a slip cover was the icing on the cake. And at an awesome price.

I had a feeling that a cartoon in 4K from the 90s would not translate well im 4k and with Dolby Vision to boot. The picture is clear but the animation is not smooth and 4k does not do the artwork any favors. I did not look at the blu-ray version, but it may look better. DV does not show up with any benefit, it was probably a marketing gimmick. I got it for Atmos, which was not strong. If it were not for the price, i would not have bought it. If you like it, then get it, but if you wanted to see stellar 4k cartoons, then this is not it. The 60s Jonny Quest blu-ray looked more pristine and 4k, even though it was 1080p...

I would definitely Recommeded this steelbook to add to your collection. If you are looking at this movie, then you alredady know that it is a cult classic. The art on this steelbook is great and is what I was hoping for. Cheers.

This is one gorgeous steelbook. A classic anime that comes to file in 4K. Really like the slipcover trend for steelbooks. Please keep this trend going.
