    I purchased this in preparation for the live action adaptaion. The animation still holds up, except for the computer UI which clearly shows the anime's age.

    The animation style is great. And the story itself is great. But you really need to be a hardcore fan of this movie and anime to think it’s a great flick. It was worth a watch but 4k added nothing to the experience. Save your money and buy the Blu-ray. I’m in the minority here when I say Scarlett Johanssons version was 10x better and the story was easier to follow.
