Been wanting to see this movie for a long time now.

I was really looking forward to this one, but have to say I am a little disappointed. Zero extras. Japanese audio is included but is 2.0. It would have been good to have a 5.1 remix of the Japanese included. I have heard there are missing sfx from the English 5.1 audio.

Great . Awesome blu Ray transfer Audio quality is great

The movie itself is 5 star and the steelbook is great. There are some issues with subtitles that need to be fixed. And yes this is the version that the scarlet johansen movie was made off of. Great animation. Must see for anyone into anime.

Decent quality. I can't even tell it's in 4k. Worst thing was the packaging. Outer plastic sleeve was glued to the case for some strange reason so I ended up ripping it.

My comments pertain to the Blu Ray, not the quality of this fine film. I bought this Blu Ray with the understanding that audio had been fully redone with new sound effects in HD quality. This was not the case. I don't recommend this Blu Ray to audiophiles or purists who want the most quality version of this movie.

I have the copy with Scarlett Johansson, what more do I need to say. I'm a collector so I have to have this version as well. Will get to you once I've previewed.

Got this movie after hearing all the great reviews and it was not that great. Visually a great movie but the story line was too much going in the short time they had, should have made the movie longer or just left out a bunch of stuff.

This 4K transfer is cheap enough to justify the pick up but it’s not need over the blu rays that have been out for years. But if your a fan of gits it a must buy

I just want my points. It's stupid that you have to leave a review to get them. Every other store that does this type of program just gives it to you.

Great video quality, but the English audio dub is very poor. Many sound effects are muted and often times voices are drowned out by the ambient sounds. The regular DVD version is much better for the audio.

Very disappointed with the steelbook quality on delivery. This was a gift for Christmas. Damaged on delivery. Looking to exchange for better product.

First time seeing this movie and it's okay. I don't understand why everyone saying that this movie is amazing. It probably is, it's just not my style.

An ok film that seems to get bogged down in monotony by the end of its brief running time. Video detail is good, but almost no special features to speak of. The included booklet is nice, though.

I actually saw the new live action version before watching the anime version. I think I somehow prefer the live action even though both movies are lacking in actual plot and good storytelling.

No extra content and the visuals are pretty disappointing. They basically just ported this to a bluray. Meh... Love the movie, but was hoping for something special for this 25th Anniversary Edition.

If you already have the bluray version then no need for this upset.

nice steelbook - nice dolby atmos sound... personally i prefer the live action film over this original anime...
