Japan makes great anime action films. At times a bit confusing but the animation is top notch. A good warm up for the live action with Scarlett Johansson

Awesome animation but the plot kinda felt plain idk

Interesting movie. When I bought it I thought it was the live action, I did buy online.

Ghost in the Shell is a classic film. However, this blu-ray is a mess. Specifically the subtitles are terrible. They are incorrect and don't line up.

I'm not a big anime fan, but I really enjoyed this film. I wanted to see it before the live action film and I'm glad I did. This set looks great!

I know it’s an older movie but I expected a much better brighter picture for it being in 4k

After hearing how amazing the 4K Blu-ray quality was, I picked this up. Immediately I’m greeted with an image worse than the previous 1080p blu-ray release. I guess the first 10-15 minutes are like this because...? No one knows. Then the movie looks...better? But not amazing. Not 4K amazing. Not HDR amazing. But, heat, at least it sounds good?

This is a lackluster edition with no extras, considering this was an anniversary edition. The movie is a great classic. Recommended for fans.

Great film. The animation is top notch. Still holds up today. No extras besides language selection. Recommend if you friend likes anime.

I don't really watch anime movies but picked this one up with the remake coming out. Dialogue seemed incomplete throughout.

Watching this before the live action adaptation may leave you disappointed by the end of the Scarlett Johansson vehicle.

This is the same blu-ray that was release in the late 2000s. This is extremely troubling to me as the movie is at an average bitrate of 17 mbps which is extremely low and there are no special features whatsoever. I honestly hoped a better release of this would have happened but Anchor Bay has opted to go for a cheap cash in instead with whatever properties they have under the Manga Entertainment name.

Great film and all but not much to this release except 5.1 English audio track. An upgrade over DVD version.

This version is the same as the cheaper 25th anniversary edition. So get that one unless you want the steelbook.

Never seen an anime before but this one was pretty good. I can see where the matrix borrow from this movie.

Wanted to complete my Son’s collection. It’s a decent looking cover.

Disappointing that this Blu-ray is just the movie with no special features but it was on sale for only $6.99.
