Movie is really good , allreddy owned it on regular Blu ray + dvd combo pack . upgraded to the 4k blu ray since the price was hard to pass up .

Saw this movie first on RedBox. Didn't care too much for the story line, however the special FX were awesome. In 3D they're even better. Too bad 3D is a dying breed. Hope TV manufacturers will bring it back to life.

I've seen the anime version and seen this movie with an open-mind. I personally liked this film from beginning to end. If you are into sci-fi flicks, this is for you. Keep an open mind and watch it with a bag of popcorn.

I'm still getting use to the Chinese production element. Much like the Great Wall movie which had excellent FX but no plot. With a Ghost in a Shell a plot is a plot and this one was marginal. The 4K version is the best.

This is a review for the steelbook itself; the movie was great but the steelbook is really awesome. Beautiful image on a sturdy steelbook. These BB exclusives sell out so fast, and I had to drive 20 miles to a store tht MAYBE had one left. Wish BB would get more of these in, but they're worth it when you can snag them.

At this price I have no compliant. I buy coz I love the anime and her nice body really helps my eyes. As a man of culture, you should get and watch this.

The 1080p blu ray version of Ghost in the Shell looks good. This 4K version looks about the same. The audio is the same on both. Save some money and pick up the cheaper 1080p version. Better yet, buy the 3D version!

Who doesn't love Scarlett Johansson? If you are a science fiction buff and are looking to spend time with her and some dazzling special effects, this one is for you! The beginning scenes remind me of the new West World.

Even if you haven’t seen this classic awesome anime, you won’t be disappointed with this newer version. I must have for any multi media people who want to see and hear awesome graphics and sound on their system.

I was familiar with the story line of this from watching the Anime movies, but what set this apart was the amazing back ground CGI settings. This is the first time I've regreted not having a 3D capable TV, because I saw this twice in the theater, and the second time was in 3D. It was truly mesmerizing to watch in 3D.

This might be one of the most underrated films I've ever seen. It was quiet and beautiful, with an amazing score. If people could just look past the casting choice and accept that it's an adaptation, and not a direct recreation of the original anime, I think they would find it very cool, entertaining and beautiful.

The visuals is stunning. But, like others the adaption from the anime ova itself is not perfect. Scarlett is the perfect match for the character and she is hot! Wife approved too! I enjoyed this movie for what it is

Don't let the cover scare you, but Scarlet does a great job representing the character Madoka... and the plot was good and the visuals stunning. The passion for the material shows through in this live action portrait.

Visuals:9 Audio: 10 Plot/film:8 A good fast, fast paced, great action flick bases on the Ghost in the Shell film. An excellent interpretation of the original manga and ignore the whitewashing, this is a fun film.

This is not the best or worst movie that I have ever seen. The special effects were ok, but I expected a little more out of this film. I would be fine only seeing this movie one time and that's it.

You do not have to have seen any of the animated movies to thoroughly enjoy this one. Great visuals, decent storyline, and enough action to keep you completely engrossed from beginning to end. You will not be bored!

Based on the 90s anime of the same name, Hollywood has done it again and recreated a classic in their corporate, Starbucks latte image. While I admit that the film wasn’t nearly as terrible as I thought it would be (and it is visually impressive) what is missing here is the strong, philosophical subtext that the anime contained. It really examined the concept of humanity in a world with false bodies. No pun intended, but this film is literally a “shell” of the anime. I would recommend it for the CGI and for a random popcorn watch but if you like the original anime, stay away from this one.

This is a movie that I had to watch a couple of times to really get the feel for everything. It has a lot of action which I loved. The CG was very well done. I am huge Scarlett Fan. So what is not to love about it.

This film is visually stunning in 4K in the sound is superior the storylines not the greatest but the movie and the quality Will carry you through
