Pretty good movie. If you like science fiction, and don’t go in expecting too much, you should enjoy this movie. Lots of cool visuals to keep you interested.

This movie operates on so many levels. I love the sheer eye candy of it all. The story has layers of complexity that go way beyond a typical action flick. Also, the characters are very interesting. The 3D made it all seem so much more real!

Delivery was long due to COVID restrictions but the package itself was in great conditions when it arrived. Worked as intended. The film? Phenomenal. If you like Scarlet Johansson or enjoy cyborg movies, this is a great one to watch!

I didn't have high hopes for this one b/c Hollywood typically messes up most remakes but this pleasantly surprised me. The effects were top-notch and the acting more then decent. It was overall well entertaining.

As usual Scarlett Johanssen nails another action role. The movie is fast moving with excellent action sequences. It's very entertaining and holds up on repeat viewing. The UHD/HDR image is clear and very detailed.

May not please die hard fans of the anime film, but still it's still entertaining. It's a new approach to it, and I thought it worked. Scarlett Johansson was great in it as well and it had some great visuals.

I picked up this movie, mostly because of Scarlett Johansson. It was a good action/Sci-Fi movie. I can't speak to the original as I never saw it, but this is a good movie to watch for the story and CGI effects.

Although many will disagree, I actually really liked this live action version of GitS, which, to my mind, stayed pretty faithful to the anime source material (manga maybe not so much). It's well worth watching.

I hadn't seen this movie I bought it for the steelbook.. movie was pretty good I expected a little more. Steelbook cover is really nice. Good art work. If you like steelbooks this is a must for your collection..

Obviously this movie is simply Scarlet Johansson does Blade Runner, but she does it so well that it is almost as good as the first one and far superior to the second one. This is an excellent movie and the effects alone make it worthwhile.

This is a review of the 3D aspect of the movie. The 3D blu ray transfer is spectacular - Watched this movie twice: once in 2D and then in 3D. This movie was meant to be viewed in 3D. (viewed on a Panasonic plasma with active 3D glasses)

A cool Steelbook for a Solid movie that is a visual masterpiece. My only wish is that this included the 3D version and a bit more features, but don't let that deter you from buying, this one is well worth it.

I thought it was a good try on the Ghost in the Shell. There were some good points in the movie and the action sequences were spot on. For the price it is a buy and enjoy a good action movie.

not a real fan of this genre but had to pick it up because of ScarJo in it...rather see her as Black Widow but wanted to check her out in this as well...3D version all sold out so got the next best thing

Good movie! I liked the special effects and futuristic sci-fi story line. Some of the the slow motion scenes remind me of how the fight scenes were filmed for the movie "The Matrix" which I also really like.

I rented this on redbox before adding it to my collection. The special features were great. They definitely explained a lot about the making of the movie than I expected, and more than other movies release.

In my view, is a very interesting, solid sci-fi movie. Well worth watching. Some interesting plot twists. Only critique is maybe overly "techy" and kind of an underlying "weird universe" vibe to everything, but hmmm, maybe that is part of its allure? Super price on the whole 3D set right now!!

Scarlet did a decent job portraying Major and the cast choice was solid. They truly followed the original anime and had lots of beautiful scenes, but the script fell flat with emotionless or lackluster scenes. It's a decent movie for a single watch, but I wouldn't watch it again for a long time. I would get the movie on sale to add to your collection, besides that I would recommend streaming it first before buying it to see how you like the movie.

Regardless of the whitewashing controversy, the movie is very entertaining and visually stunning. I love the original animated movie and I love this live-action version. This movie deserves to be watched.

I never read the graphic novel so I may like the movie more than someone who has. This film engages your mind and all of your senses. Truly transports you to this world where replicant humans are active and earth is much changed. I love every frame and am amazed anew with every viewing.
