Definetly on my top 10 steelbooks I own look wise. Nice glossy red with great art. Film is serious in tone with nice visuals. Will probably be much more appreciated years down the road.

The movie wasn't received well critically but I thought it was pretty entertaining. It's disappoint though that the 3D version is sold separately and not packed in with the 4K version.

Ghost in the Shell is a great movie featuring Scarlett Johansson. It is a terrific sci-fi movie especially in 4K UHD. I recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys sci-fi movies with a lot of action.

Scarlett J. makes this movie. She may not always appear in the best flix but they are all entertaining at least. She is not afraid to take a chance on new, and sometimes, odd stories.

As much as my eyes love Scarlett Johansson I could not get over her being cast as the Major. I did my best to ignore this when it hit theaters and when it first came to blu ray. But after talking with a couple of folks I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be better than I imagined, but still I can't help but feel like it was a little off. It was a treat to see some iconic scenes from the anime done very well in the live action version. Also it was very nice to see Beat Takeshi speaking japanese the whole way through this.

This movie is based on a favorite Japanese comic book story. Good storyline and I thought it had good action scenes. Kind of reminded me of Blade runner type atmosphere and setting.

I am a big fan of the anime and thought Hollywood did a good job in adapting it to live action. I would have preferred they had kept the humor with the use of the Tachikoma in the film but that would probably have been too much for the wider audience they were trying for.

I enjoyed the movie having spent little time with the anime series. My friend who has watched it states as long as you just try to enjoy the movie and not nit pick you will like it.

Not the absolute best anime to movie experience but definitely top tier class compared to most! This is definitely worth a watch and one that you can enjoy a good few times.

Many reviews I read criticized one thing or another about this movie and made me hesitant to by it! In the end I did buy because I loved the original anime and believe that Scarlett Johansson is one of the better actresses of her generation. I wasn't disappointed at all!

This is one of my new favorite steelbooks. The cover artwork was amazing, it is nice and glossy. The 4K Picture quality looks amazing, it is not the best 4K movie but it is VERY good. The audio quality is also excellent. I highly recommend buy this if you get the chance.

(Never watched the anime) The movie was pretty good, way better than expected. The 4k verison is very clear and crisp but the HDR is definitely the standout. 4k review is 8 out of 10

a bit weird but ok. basically, so many bright colors and lights that it really made zero difference that we bought the 4k version of the movie. really, wait for amazon or netflix

The plot was a bit too straight forward but it was entertaining. The 4k HDR presentation was above average which was welcome

Overall, I thought it was a good movie. I don't know much about the cartoon but the movie is very interesting. Awesome visuals and the acting is good. Definitely worth the purchase!

Grabbed this movie for the steelbook and the 4K. Love the artwork they chose for it and looks amazing with the red finish. This story is driven from an anime with the same name. I thought it was great and despite some of the changes it still holds its own. A must watch.

They took an storyline and condensed it for the the average person not up to speed with the title. Not a bad movie at all, anime meets real world movies. Keeps you interested.

I was a fan of the anime. This movie got a lot of bad reviews, but I enjoyed it. Great special effects and action. Who doesn't enjoy looking at Scarlett?! Take it for what it is....

Scarlet Johansson is the new action hero....she's been in quite a few lately. With that said the movie is good but not great. The plot is fairly predictable. Visuals are excellent.

My oldest wanted it, and he really like it, even if, as he said, "it doesn't match the original anime". I have as yet to see it, but, based on my 18 YO son, he recommends it.
