    The Steel book edition Make it that much more interesting in owning it. The movie it self its a classic and shows how advance Japanese Anime was for its time.

    This is a quintessential anime that is a must have! This bluray contains the 1996 color pallet and not the orange color pallet from ghost in the shell 2.0.

    Looks and sounds great and i think the true highlight here is the fantastic package art and inclusion of a protective clear sleeve for the steelbook. Missing special features but I feel the high quality steelbook and digital copy make up for it.

    The steelbook is gorgeous with a nice inside cover. And though people have said this 25th anniversary edition had horrible sub timing, I experienced no problems.

    Went see the new live action movie and wanted to rewatch the original this edition is great and has extras any fan would love also the price was fantastic

    Watched this ahead of the new theatrical version. While the new film isn't the same story line, it was nice to watch and get familiar with the characters.

    I didn't get to open this and watch because I returned it due to becoming unemployed. The steelbook was very colorful, and very likely would have ended up in my "dream" case display.

    Previous blu-ray versions of GITS included that CGI nonsense; not this one--this is the original, fully restored film, with cool packaging and even cooler sound. Love it.
