Based off the original Anime of the same name, this movie has bit of problem. Sure Scarlett Johansson can bring in movie goers, but what the movie needs is to breath and let some of the wonderful original anime storytelling remain. Eye candy? Sure, but is it a good movie? Meh. The only reasons i do have this movie in my collection is because : 1 i do love the original Anime and : 2 Scarlett Johansson.

This movie was not as good as the original anime movie but still pretty good. Definitely recommended but watch the anime if you haven't

Just as titled, love the artwork on the steel book great pc. to add to my collection. Movie was just average at best, nothing special.

Enjoyed the movie, but liked the Ultra HD even better. This was the first purchase for Ultra HD and boy could you tell a difference.

I never saw the anime but i figure this may get me to watch the anime. it is a great movie it is a bit confusing but not sure.

While not the best movie, and as an original Ghost in the Shell fan, it definitely has plenty of shortcomings, it looks great in 4k.

I have watched Ghost in the Shell from the beginning. Even though this is not a 1 to 1 remake of the anime, I found it to have the spirit of the anime.

Love the steelbook package. Includes 4K/2D versions. Wish it also included 3D version. UltraViolet digital copy redeemed for SD/HD/UHD streaming using VUDU. Original is still the best, but I enjoyed this movie.

Huge fan of Ms. Johansson hadn’t seen the movie this had a great price

Very futuristic looking and close to the animated characters. Felt a little cut off at the end. I like it overall, lots of action.

Ghost in the shell is a must to see iff you`re like high tech dark sci-fi. The visuals in 4K are breathtaking, music and acting are phenomenal and all this comes in a beautiful Steel Book package, must have it.

This movie surprised me honestly! It followed the animated movie pretty well! It has AMAZING special effects going on with a great cast and crew! Definitely worth seeing if you are a fan of the animated movie!!

Movie is angood reboot for fans of the original OVA and the anime series, but the manga/book readers may be a bit disappointed

This is a decent movie that comes no where close to the original. There is a nice increase in detail on the 4k version.

A sleek and faithful adaptation of the original. You will want to watch several times just to take in everything that is going on across all corners of the screen. And of course Scarlet Johansson is top notch.

The clarity is spectacular but the HDR is lacking, sadly. The colors are not what you would expect with all of the beautiful scenery.

Movie was a lot bigger than the box office suggested. This Movie is beautiful great colors and a good storyline but sad. Nice ending.

Had no idea this was and anime classic. Was the last of six movies we picked up one day and we had no expectations. Ended up with a really good story set in the future. Scarlett was stunning as always.
