I have never seen the anime that it is based on but I really enjoyed the movie. Worth checking out if you are a Sci-Fi fan.

Controversy aside - the movie is okay. Movie lacked original's soundtrack feel. Ending was, eh. Unsure if Scarlett Johansson was directed to act that way as she appeared very stiff. Everyone I watched it with mentioned the way she walked as well. 4K features appear upscaled. HDR features are great - making the darks nice. A decent buy at a sale price. Do the same, and wait for a discount to BUY.

This movie actually follows the anime and is pretty good. The 3D is also amazing. Plus I got this for only 10 bucks!!!

This movie is stunning in 4K!!! This movie is great as a stand-alone. If you are a fan of the original Ghost In the Shell, this movie night not be for you. Action packed and visually pleasing.

fans of the original source material need to understand that this is a retelling of said story that is able to pull it off

I bought this movie for the 3-D capabilities. The 3-D format is going the way of the dinosaur and the price was right.

I was one of the smaller batch of folks who really enjoyed this movie. As someone not well versed in the original anime, I went into this with fresh eyes, and was really engaged and touched by the story. But the main attraction was in the visuals, and that's where this 4k release really shines. The film might not be for everyone, but it will show off your display and sound system really well. Get it!

Really like this movie, and was sad it didn't do so well in theaters. Love the anime and thought they did a nice adaptation, all controversies aside. I now look forward to any movie in Steelbook.

I was holding out to watch this on video.. I won't spoil it but if you haven't seen anything for the Ghost in the Shell anime or manga this makes for a good first thing to watch.. I was good.. :)

Pretty good live action movie, great audio and special effects. If you are a fan of the original anime you'll notice this movie follows the story line perfectly from beginning to end. My only problem is the material and how the story was told, theirs moments were it gets boring and dull. But the way it was film is fantastic, dark, grim, and definitely cyberpunk. But over okay movie to have around.

I like this movie, because of the futuristic and colorful backgrounds of the city. A little similar to the anime version.

This is a solid sci fi film. If you like the genre, then you will find this an enjoyable ride. Picture is good

I bought this for the 3D and it's amazing in this movie. The movie itself is good and definitely worth watching.
