Great classic Anime film in great quality. Both UHD and normal Blu-ray good for those without the latest players.

If you are new to Anime, Ghost in the Shell is one of the most iconic movies of them. It is also one of the most visionary sci-fi movies of all time. You will be amazed on how beautiful is animated. I truly recommend. Five Stars.

This is one gorgeous steelbook. A classic anime that comes to file in 4K. Really like the slipcover trend for steelbooks. Please keep this trend going.

I no longer have the video tape, so this was great! Only complaint I have is that the code I redeemed on vudu gave me just the English dubbed digital copy.

As a fan of the Ghost in the Shell universe I could not pass the opportunity to purchase this boxed version, which included some cool extras and a classic film in Blu-Ray. The artwork on the box is excellent!

I had a feeling that a cartoon in 4K from the 90s would not translate well im 4k and with Dolby Vision to boot. The picture is clear but the animation is not smooth and 4k does not do the artwork any favors. I did not look at the blu-ray version, but it may look better. DV does not show up with any benefit, it was probably a marketing gimmick. I got it for Atmos, which was not strong. If it were not for the price, i would not have bought it. If you like it, then get it, but if you wanted to see stellar 4k cartoons, then this is not it. The 60s Jonny Quest blu-ray looked more pristine and 4k, even though it was 1080p...

Fantastic animation that still hods up to this day. A classic from Japan that helped to elevate the genre and influence many other films such as The Matrix.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is the original unaltered version. It is not the version with the CGI. Finally they released the original on bluray. No special features but it is totally fine with me.

.. at a fraction of the cost of importing the same version from the UK. And I don't know if that one is playable in the US or not. Happy to finally have a steelbook edition of this classic anime film in my collection!

Anime Sci-Fi Classic. I own other versions of the amazing film and this one takes the cake. The steelbook is gorgeous and the movie’s presentation is superb.

It is a great buy just for decoration if you’ve seen it already . Best case I have in my collection of games and movies . Buy this version before it’s gone

I’ve noticed in past few years most steelcase Blu Rays are damaged in some way but this one was in excellent condition and the 4k remaster is a pleasure to watch

GHOST IN THE SHELL glistens in 4K! Looks so gorgeous in 4K that it’s almost like watching this anime masterpiece for the very first time! My only complaint is the cheap flimsy eco-friendly 4K Blu-ray case. Beyond that I highly recommend this one!

I never heard of this anime before but watching the movie kinda makes you think about everything.

This movie was released many years before the show of the same name but introduced the themes and concepts expanded upon in the series. The only complaint some might have with this release is that the audio for the Japanese track is not as good as the English track but if you are watching the movie dubbed then there is no issue.
