Good movie, was pretty trippy to watch, definitely need to watch it again at some point

This mondo steelbook. I just take this movies because there is a new movie, I decide to watch the anime version. And then watch the new version. But nice movie.

The story is very cerebral and rewarding, but the action sequences are few and far in between. What you do get is a story that's engaging and thought provoking. The animation is breathtaking. I prefer the original art to the CGI laden update. Definitely a must see.

I have always been a fan of this movie, and on Blu-ray, bringing out the sound and picture quality to a higher standard, makes it more enjoyable to watch again. I highly recommend it for anyone just getting into anime to buy it as one of their first movies.

The movie that started it all. I prefer this movie over the tv series. Even if you don't like the tv show on toonami, give this a try if you like classic scifi.

I Had Never Seen Ghost In The Shell, And This Blu Ray Was A Great Buy! I Collect Steel Books, And Got This Awesome One For My Collection At A Really Good Price!

Great option for this 4k treatment of Ghost in the Shell.

My order got delayed, but it was worth the wait. The movie looks perfect and sound even better! Worth the upgrade.

This is one of my all time favorite movies and got me into anime in the nineties. I had to add the original theatrical release of the movie to my Bluray collection.

Son loves these movies & wanted this one to add to his Collection.

A classic in the Japanese animations, and a beautiful steelbook that i had to own it even if i already had the movie

I bought this because I wanted to know what the live action movie was going to be about. This anime was ahead of its time. Now, it's something you can pass. The conversations and ideas are still very thought provoking but that's all you really get out of it. I'm sure the movie will be nothing like its anime but at least I know what they started with and why they would make changes. If you're fan of anime, this can hold its own right next to Princess Monoke, Spirited Away, and Akira. If you're not, you won't get the idea nor keep up with the great artwork that goes into making these older animes. I'm not recommending this to everyone, only the people that value good anime stories that make you think.

I mainly purchased this version for the steelbook and I am very pleased. Beautiful artwork for an amazing movie.

This steel book looks (to me) a bit better than the mondo blu-ray one. It's a good upgrade for Ghost in the shell.
