I love Ghostbusters! and Bill Murray and the whole cast in this is great. If you enjoyed Ghostbusters on any other format this is a great addition to your GB collection or movie collection. If you are trying to decide to get this bluray edition or to get the 4K version. I would suggest this version it has a great little booklet inside about the movie. If you like to laugh and enjoy ghost you'll love this. don't be afraid to own this on Bluray!

This is a biased review. This is true due to the fact that Ghostbusters is definitely my favorite comedy film ever. And not just that. It may well be the top film for re-watching over the years in my eyes. Now, this blu-ray features 4K mastering/resolution. That is a very nice feature and pretty darn amazing for films from 1984 and 1989. I love both films, the first is best in my opinion of course. There are some nice features included in a very cool hardcover book case. I recommend this to someone who loves the films and would like to see them on blu-ray in high definition. This is it! This is definitely it!

I already have the 25th anniversary blu-ray edition of this movie, but I was wondering if the 4k would really upgrade the video quality which is not that great on the earlier edition, and this newer edition (at $14.99) was cheap enough to experiment with. I do not have any of the very expensive 4k equipment but the 4k is advertised that it will improve a regular blu-ray. Side by side with the earlier blu-ray version, I would say that there is a noticeable upgrade in the foreground of the scene and some shots come out very clear. It is enough of an improvement that I am keeping this one.

Two of the best comedies from the last century celebrates their 30th anniversary with this limited edition collection in Blue Ray glory! Remaster in 4K! the next big thing! both films shine, almost perfect, filled with extras, commentaries, art, and of course that lovely figure of slimmer and the Ghostbuster logo, capped one limited edition for fans and people alike that is a cannot miss! I'm loving every minute of it. Get yours fast before they disappear!

Ghostbusters is a classic. This is why a 30th Anniversary edition exists. As for this particular packaging of Ghostbusters, I would recommend it for anyone that doesn't already have the movies on blu ray and ultraviolet. You get two discs, a UV code, plus a neat booklet in the front of the case with details about the making of the movies. There are also bonus features on each disc and "A Personal Note From Ivan Reitman", the director of both films. As far as bang for your buck, I think this set is a steal. Any fan of the series should go ahead and buy it. You'll thank me later

Starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd , Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson as the Ghostbusters. Cast was rounded out by Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts and Rick Moranis. I was watching either MTV or VH1 and the Ghostbusters tune by Ray Parker Jr came on. After watching the video, my sister-in-law and I ran out right away to go see the movie. It was hilarious! Definitely a classic. Ghostbusters 2 is also included on the disc. Although I cannot speak to the 4K quality, having only a 1080p TV, I did find the Blu-ray to be quite clear and the colors vibrant.

First film is amazing! Second film is fine. Great set and picture quality was good!

Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd lead a special team of 'Ghostbusters', accompanied by the lovely Sigourney Weaver. The problem is, the ghosts don't want to be gotten rid of and fight back by 'sliming' their adversaries. The fun of Ghostbusters 1 is followed by Ghostbusters 2 and Best Buy has thoughtfully combined both in one offering. Enjoy the fun, alone or with the family. PS:The team is rounded out by Harold Ramis and Rick Moranis to add to the well-played-out gags. This double selection, on Blu-ray, is modestly priced by Best Buy.

Little could be added to good reviews of the original Ghostbusters movie, or the negataive reviews of its sequel, so this will address the new double set quality. PQ is excellent, better (though not dramatically so) than the previous bluray release. Special features for GB1 are outstanding, with a new piece about the influence of New York City. Great fun and some good info as well. The GB2 features are limited; they are missing the cartoon features from the previous double dvd release--not a big loss. Overall a highly recommended set, especially at sale prices.

Really funny movies even though the second is not as original but still fun.

The Ghotstbusters 1 and 2 digibook is a must-buy for fans of the film series. You get an improved version of the original film (unless you own the "Mastered from 4K release, which looks negligibly nicer) and the second film in pristine glory. Special features on the first movie are great and the second one has some decent ones, including some (but not all) of the deleted scenes that exist. The book/case itself is beautiful and a fun tribute to the movies. I only wish there had been more special features and deleted scenes for the second film.

These movies were a great find and a great price, never disappoints!

Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis, Annie Potts and Harold Ramis star in these classic comedies about three haphazard scientist involved in the hobby of ghost hunting. The hobby becomes their collective career (Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis) after becoming unemployed. After that first call for help the trio find themselves overworked as activity continues to increase and become more hilarious as they move closer to an apocalypse which only they can stop. A must see fun for the family.

Incredible looking transfers, vibrant colors, funnier jokes, better looking Harold Ramis...it's all included in this package. Mainly just the first 2 I mentioned. This is just a great set of movies to have if you are a fan of film, comedy, classics(80's, not like classic classics), etc. This pairs well with a PS3 or 4 and a nice large HD TV. It's worth the money for all the extras and it's even in 4K if anyone even has that. Buy it, enjoy it, laugh, remember, and more importantly go, go, go, go, Ghoooooooostbussttterssssss!

Well put together pairing of these films and good extras...

Both Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 are classics that don't need a review of the movies themselves. But the release on blu ray that was taken from a new 4K master really gives an improved picture quality over the old DVD versions. With a myriad of different audio languages available, English and some of the other languages are presented in DTS-HD for high-def audio quality to match with the great picture. This was well worth the upgrade from the DVDs and with both movies in one package it's a good value, too.

If you never seen Ghostbusters or have not seen in this movie it is a perfect movie. Who's make this movie greater then it always, it had came out in blue Ray with part one and part two together. The movie is perfect it come with two movies for a cheap price for just one movie. The movie had it all Fun, Action and the funniest actor's in a movie.

All time classics. Can't beat the era of this comedy!
