I'm not going to write any details about the films, they're classics that have been out forever. I find each film to be as equally enjoyable, though I know many people disagree. That noted, this is a fantastic deal,and the upgraded picture and sound found on these versions of the film is fantastic. If you don't already own the films, and don't want to make the investment into the new 4K versions, this is a must have for your collection.

I grew up watching these films so they have a special place in my heart, especially the second film. They both scared me and watching them today, they hold up very well. Bill Murray is fantastic. They've been mastered in 4K and while the previous Mi4K release of Ghostbusters is negligibly better due to having more disc space because there weren't any extras, this is the definitive release because it includes both films as well as extras. They look like new films.

One of the funniest films of all time. A star studded cast including Bill Murray, Dan Aykrod, & Rick Moranis. Also co-starring Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson, & Harold Ramis. Still hilariously funny after all these years. It's not only funny but also has it's scary scenes as well. Great special effects & gadgets considering the era in which it was filmed. Overall, a very funny film that is as popular today as when it was initially released.

I'll admit right off the bat that this was my first foray into watching the original Ghostbusters movies. I saw bits and pieces when I was a kiddo, but I did not remember anything from them leading up to now. For the value of a two-movie set, on Blu-ray with digital downloads and mastered for 4K, you can't get much better than this. I won't turn this into a movie review, but I can say that the flicks are OK. I personally don't get the universal acclaim this flick has garnered for the time and even now, but that's just a matter of opinion. If I paid more or the same price but for each movie instead of both, I'd be disappointed. I would recommend it to a fan of the franchise or for someone who wants to check out the films for the first time but not pay too much.

I grew up loving the Ghostbusters. Seeing this Blu-Ray of both Ghostbusters live action films(along with a UV Digital Copy) on sale for only $5, I had to get it, along with a couple extras as gifts for friends. What can I say about it other than it's a classic franchise, and this Blu-Ray makes it a whole new experience like I'm truly watching for the first time again. I can't recommend this enough to fans of Ghostbusters, young and old.

Seriously. You can't not like these flicks; they're classics. I grew up watching these and enjoy my 2 year old son singing the song and pretending to be a Ghostbuster now. The addition of a digital copy in this set makes it too hard to pass up. I already owned DVDs and still bought it to get digital copies cheaper than from google play. What I didn't expect was to spend around 6 hours watching extras with more to go still.

the 4k and HD transfer looks incredible! i was really hoping to just have a DVD quality picture, but was pleasantly surprised at how crisp the picture is - colors aren't saturated- blacks aren't pixelated- and the audio was nice and even. I hate how some movies make the dialogue hard to hear and you have to jack up the volume and then the 1 scene with action just about blows the speakers up! No issue with the audio here!

I've only watched some of these movies as a kid and never really got into them. But now as an adult it has a nostalgic feeling to it that takes me back to that era of my life so I'm now intrested in what happens in both movies. I'm looking forward to watch it. The packaging is great. This is my first digibook, I didn't know it was until I bought. I love this set.

Picked this up on sale for $9.99 a week or 2 ago. What is not to love with this release? You get both the original Ghostbusters classic, AND the sequel Ghostbusters II which is also a classic, and a great price. Plus, for this special release you get both movies mastered in 4K, the newest form of HD for Blu Ray, + a collectible Digibook package with pages or artwork and notes from the film. Picking this up is a no brainer!

We got to see Ghostbusters in 4K about a year ago. It looks great. Now we get all the bonus features from previous releases plus additional features, and Ghostbusters 2. While the second film is not the classic the original has become, it's still a fun film. The transfers are great, and there's enough special features to satisfy the fans. The digibook packaging is fine, but something slightly more premium would have been nice.

I received a mystery price from Best Buy via email. It could have been $5 or more. Oh well, it turned out to be $5. So I roamed the stored and found Ghost Busters in Blue Ray. A closer look at the cover revealed that it is Ghost Buster I and II for $9.99! Take the $5 off and it is $4.99! That is a great deal! Now I can enjoy with the family and friends in high resolution Blue Ray the old Ghost Busters movies.

This set is great. It comes w the ghostbuster mastered in 4K and Ghostbusters II. They look as best as they ever did, If you consider the source material then in my opinion this is as god as it gets until UHD BD of the set comes on sale if ever. The set is cheap and has both movies. Sound and video are the best it has seen on a home release. No stream of these movies compares to the BD version! Get it!

This 1984 American comedy film by Ivan Reitman has rightfully earned its reputation as one of the classic 80s movies. The best part is how this film deftly blends comedy, action and horror all in one brilliant film. These wild film genres are all very different from one another, but this film makes mixing then up look easy.

What can be said about a 30 year old film that to this day makes fans young and now older fans smile? Bustin makes ya feel good and so will the film set. The crisp and clean video still stands strong and the soundtrack helps bring it all back. GB2 offers up deleted scenes that have never been seen till now so that's an added bonus. Both films bring back so many memories so if your a fan go out and buy them!

Ghostbusters is one of the all time greats. Ghostbusters 2, though not as good as the first, it is still quite funny. The blueray has a lot of special features including the reconditioning of Ecto 1. It does not include the Real Ghostbuster cartoons that the DVD set included but I'll live. The set does include special features for Ghostbusters 2 that the DVD did not. Pick them up as soon as possible.

Ghostbusters were amazing when I first saw it at an early age and it's still awesome now in my twenties. You appreciate the chemistry that exudes between Murray, Hudson, Aykroyd and Ramis not to mention all star "supporting cast" (these are A-listers in my book, extra kudos for amazing casting) of Moranis and Weaver. Always a good view no matter the times, especially awesome during October!

Picked this up thanks in part to a gift card I found from years ago and a $5 voucher I had from the reviews. I've lived these movies since I first saw them as a kid. Now, almost twenty years later I'm back watching them again and I'm loving every moment of it. Great movies, hilarious jokes tossed in with serious and action scenes. If you're a Ghostbusters fan, you'd be very happy with this set.

This is one of those movies that should be a part in everyone's collection. The original Ghostbusters is ranks up there with Caddyshack and Animal House, and you also get the bonus of Ghostbusters 2 in this collection, for the same price when it is on sale. Although part 2 is not as funny as 1, it is still much better then the recently released Ghostbusters 3.

Great classic 80s movies. If you’ve only watch the new Ghostbusters movie you need to watch these. These are far superior to the newer version, in humor, storyline and overall. The special effects weren’t as advanced but it adds to the movies. Loves watching theses again in blu-ray.

Let's be honest, there are very few films that so deeply impact the culture of an entire generation like Ghostbusters has. I doubt anyone doesn't already know the theme song and there are countless references throughout almost all entertainment mediums. If you've never (somehow) seen these films or you're looking to add them to your collection, this is the quintessential version.
