My middle child has loved Ghostbusters since the moment she first saw it. This obviously made me very proud because Ghostbusters is one of my favorites when I was a child. But when she found out that they were making an all-female cast she needed to see that movie more than anything. She saw it in the theaters twice and that was her number one item on her Christmas list for Santa. I checked all around to find the best deal the cheapest available was at Best Buy

I was really surprised at the success of this movie with all of the negative hype leading into the release. I have watched the movie four times and the comedy gets better with time. The comedy quartet are really great together and I would love to see them in other films too. This movie really stands out on its own and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great laugh. Some of the jokes were adult level and crude language not appropriate for all ages.

Lets face it, this isn't the greatest movie. But it isn't one you need to take seriously either, just a movie to enjoy. When you see it for that, just a fun movie, it is exactly that. Plus, it was great to see the cameos. I just wish Rick Moranis would have had a cameo

Ever since this was announced, I was excited for it. It did not disappoint. People complain about it because it features women in the prominent roles, instead of the originals. These people refuse to watch it or give it a chance. In truth, they are the ones missing out.

for this movie i was a little hesitant after watching the trailer, somehow it looked like a little forced, i little to overdone ( besides me not being a big fan of melissa mccarthy, i tought she was going to ruin it) but thank good i decided to see this movie i loved it and it was very fun indeed, i seriously don't get why so many people hated it but oh well i definitely recommend this till i think is fun is entertaining and you will have a great great time.

I was leery of another Ghostbusters movie, mainly cause Ghostbusters 2 was so bad. But they managed to successfully make another good Ghostbusters movie. If you can go into it with an open mind you'll probably enjoy it. But it's better than the awful Ghostbusters 2.

I enjoyed the movie, and the cameo appearances from the original Ghostbusters cast were great, but I thought it took a little too long to get rolling in the beginning, and the climactic battle at the end was a bit over the top. Despite that, I enjoyed the movie a lot.

It was pretty good but still missing that vibe the original had in comparison. Felt that the movie just kept going a little too long. Overall I'd recommend people to watch it just got to keep an open mind if you saw the originals since its not necessarily like those.

This has proven to be a polarizing movie, but if one goes in with an open mind, this is an enjoyable movie (for the most part). People who are dead-set on comparing it to the original will likely find its faults, but there's a lot to like here if given the chance.

I tried to post this review and it kept telling me that inappropriate language was being used....there was no bad words at all. I just removed a whole paragraph that talked about the tone of the original and the tone of this one.....weird best buy....very weird. Did it ruin my childhood? No it did not. Did it tarnish the Ghost Busters name? No it did not, did we forget about Ghost Busters 2 and the Ghost Busters game for Nintendo? Take it for what it is, an updated modern take...with a little bit of a lower brow level of comedy. Hopefully if a 2nd comes out, it tries to stay out of being political and having an agenda and just makes a good ghost-busters movie with a great story and not the same as ghost busters 2.

Another great movie to add to our movie collection. Best Buy always has the best selections at the best prices! Hence their name "Best" buy (chuckle chuckle) always get all my movies from them! Waiting for holiday season to come around for the deals!

Initially I was hesitant to like this movie before I sat down and started it. The beginning was reminiscent of the original ghostbusters movie and the nods to the predecessors kept coming through out. It was enjoyable but definitely not replacing the originals.

Watch this with my 5-year-old niece & she loved it. She hasn't ever seen the first movie with the original male cast so this was her first experience watching the Ghostbusters do their thing. I thought that the cast was great, even though they haven't been given the best reviews. I personally liked the sequel and I think they did a pretty good job considering it was made 30 years after the original movie.

This was a good movie for what it was. If you go into this looking for the next chapter to the Ghostbusters story, you will be let down. This was a fresh start with enough changes, and similarities to the original, that it still felt like a Ghosbusters movie.

I know this movie got A LOT of hate, but I thought it was great. A new generation got introduced to the Ghostbusters, and if they want more, their parents can show them the old ones until the sequel comes out. Love the exclusive art on the steelbook too.

Movie was better than I thought it would be. Being a fan of the original I didn't think the reboot would do it justice, but it was a fun movie and the acting was pretty good. The 4K HDR is reference quality in my opinion and garnered this title an extra star.

I'm an 80's baby, so this was no problem running out to get this steelbook, flat out love ghost busters, I have the first two in steelbook and now this version andthe 4k just makes it all around better. ..OK and it comes with the 3d blu ray, got to love it !

This movie ended up being really good. They did a great job remaking this one and paying homage to the original. The cameo appearances were definitely appreciated! This was a really good and funny remake! Definitely one to buy and watch over and over again!

I bought this movie for the family and we all had a few good laughs. I went into it without thinking of the old films and I liked it. It wasn't ground breaking and didn't have me rolling on the floor laughing, but it was funny and worth watching for sure.

Ghostbusters is a funny movie with a great cast. It is a twist on the original Ghostbusters with an all female cast. I expected it to be fall out of my seat hilarious because of the cast, but it turned out to just be moderately funny. Still, good movie.
