I was not expecting much from this movie expecting it to be a cheesy spin off reboot. I was shocked at how much better it was than I thought. It was very comical and had a good amount of nostalgia. I highly recommend this movie for a fun family movie.

People who talk bad about this movie really need to see it. It's not as good as the originals but captures the feeling and is a good movie. Would have rather it be a sequel, and wish the movie was actually shot and mastered in 4K. Not just upconverted

I was very surprised how much I liked this new version of the classic Ghostbusters movie. The actresses were funny and had great chemistry. The plot was good but not too original. Overall I would recommend it to anyone that enjoyed the original movie.

Do not watch this if you are going to compare it to the 1st Ghost Busters. This movie stands on its own. We really enjoyed it. It is funny and a couple of the characters from the 1st ghost busters make an appearances. We were pleasantly surprised.

Despite all the flack, I loved the new all female cast of Ghostbusters! Each actress brought something new and exciting to the screen that held my attention all the way through to the exciting end. Yes, it is a different telling of the original story but it was fun in it's own right. I loved the cameos by the original actors as it was a particular highlight for me! I highly recommend this version to watch with the whole family!

I don't know what all the dramatic nonsense was prior to release about this movie being junk, but I loved it. Don't give a hoot about it being all women, don't care about it not sticking strict to original theme...if there ever was one. It was simply a funny movie with great lines/dialogue and love all the actresses. You can save all the comparisons to the original Ghostbusters for someone else who cares and has no life.

This was an amusing movie. I was initially concerned with the bad reviews and some loyalty to the original series but this was a really funny movie with much respect for the original movies. Lots of jokes and just an all around fun movie to watch

It's always a challenge to find movies appropriate for my 10 year old to watch because some of the PG-13 movies are a little too racy. This movie was funny and we both enjoyed it. It made me want to take a second look at the original versions.

I waited for the price to drop based on the reviews. Should have bought earlier because of the great 3D pop out in the movie. Not many 3D movies anymore and the fact it has the regular blu ray and 4K disc makes it a must have for collectors of hard media. Good PQ and SQ make this a great purchase.

So many people bashed this movie but I loved the remake and new spin on it. I kind of wish Kristen Wiig’s character was a little nerdier but I guess it worked better for this dynamic. Still pretty funny. Ending could have been better.

I had really high expectations for this remake. I can say that in some ways it did meet them. I enjoyed the story line. All 4 actresses did a fantastic job in my opinion. They all brought their own style of acting and it paid of watching it.

I didnt think it would be any good bc the originals were awesome and remakes usually suck. This was a good one. I laughed alot and actually would enjoy watching it over and over. Not to mention Hemsworth is very nice eye candy for the movie ;)

I'm an 80's kid, I grew up with the original Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2. I was very skeptical on a remake of it. I was pleasantly surprised, it was an entertaining film, there's a few parts where I caught my self laughing out loud. The cameo's from the original cast RIP Harold Ramos, was a nice touch, I wasn't expecting that. I thought it was going to be a full on remake however it's not, it's a whole new story.

I don't really listen to the people who say this movie shouldn't have been done by women. To me its still great comedy. Its a little more crude than the ones in the past but still not that bad compared to some movies that have come out lately.

First copy of the movie wouldn't sync properly (audio with visual). Had to exchange it for a new copy. Best Buy made it easy. Fans of the original movie carped about the female casting. So sad. This movie was great fun! The cast was excellent!

I chuckled maybe twice in the whole movie. The cast doesn't really get anything that plays to their strengths. Surprisingly, Leslie Jones was the most enjoyable person, apart from one cringe inducing scene. The movies stakes never feel real and I never really cared what happened to any of them. The original someone dressed in a giant marshmallow man suit and still managed to be more believable than the weird CGI that this reboot used. The art on the steelbook case is what ultimately got me to buy this. I love the style and for that reason alone, I don't regret the purchase. The ultraviolet code also includes the theatrical and extended editions.

Fun movie. Not as good as the originals, but the movie was still entertaining and my kids really liked it and that's what counts. I would recommend this movie because it is a fun movie and had a lot of special effects that kids would love.

Saw it in the movie theatre first. There is a lot going on and lots of special effects. Not a deep story but entertaining. There are so many special effect scenes that the story almost gets lost. A fun couple of hours of light entertainment.

This critically maligned re-boot is much more entertaining than critics would have you believe. Thank you Sony for packaging the 4K disc with 3D and a standard Blu Ray. Wish other studios would adopt this bundling on their premium 4K product.

I love this brand new version of ghostbusters!!! It's all about girl power and friendship. I never got into the old version, even tho it's a classic.. I know don't kill me, but I was extremely interested when I heard they were doing an all female cast reboot of the film!! I loved ever secound of it. Not only is the cast perfectly hilarious, but the message of the film is just as good!! Everyone give it a chance:)
