I like this movie a lot! Love the cameos by the actors from original film. I enjoyed this remake and thought it was a lot of fun to watch. A few inappropriate words + one scene with the middle finger that lasted over 15 seconds, so you might want to watch while kids are not around if you have little ones. I thought this was a very well-done remake; lots of humor and a fun watch.

I know some have bashed this movie, but i also saw the original in the theater and no it can't be beat. This though is a whole new movie with a new set of characters. I for one enjoyed them and it helped being a big Kate McKinnon fan (she's hilarious). I just found myself thoroughly entertianed. 3D wise, you wont find many better, have to see to believe. Definitely one of those that was meant to be seen in 3D.

The cast of this movie is pretty top notch. The woman are all funny, each in their own way without compromising the other characters. This movie gets a bad wrap from most critics, but in all honesty, I found it funny and entertaining.

I was initially skeptical that a reboot 30 years later could successfully be done. This movie was a refreshing reboot, but this time with Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and Kate McKinnon. They also brought in the cast from the original movies for minor roles and cameos which made it more fun for us that watched the originals when those movies came out. Buy it to add to your movie library - you can't go wrong.

Bought this just because I wanted to test my new 4K display and player. Needless to say, the special visual effects really are impressive on the HDR, but the real surprise was how funny and just plain terrific the movie is. I had low expectations just because movie remakes seem to pale in comparison to the original. Not the case here -- fun, fun, fun film. Get it to show off your 4K AND for a hilarious flick!

I enjoyed this movie in 3D. I did not watch the 2D movie either in blu-ray or 4K. In general the movie was funny. Special effects were excellent. The 3D effects were above average. Be ready to jump a couple of times with the 3D effects.

The stellar cast of this remake does a good job, but misses some of the madcap qualities of the original. Kate McKinnan and Leslie Jones are the best of the bunch and Chris Hemsworth is surprisingly funny as the secretary. Worth watching.

Totally different story line from the original but not a bad movie at all. They had many appearances from the original films but not all. Would've been great to see them all. Funny over all especially for the SNL crew...good job ladies!

How can you not like what they did with this movie? Great cast and a fun and entertaining story made this enjoyable all the way around. If you didn't like this movie then you were looking for a million reasons not to like it. Loved it.

Ok, so the movie is exactly what you expect. Cameos and homages to the originals all over the place... but the coolest thing... they broke the widescreen barrier. The effects reach out beyond the letterbox making a more immersive film.

This movie is a great comedy that brings back the classic Ghostbusters theme but with a new refreshing twist. May not follow the original story but has many of the original cast in cameos and has it's own storyline to their beginning.

The Ghostbusters are back with a all STAR female cast. Putting aside the awful negative reviews. In this instalment they don't ignore the fact that they existed before (The Ghostbusters), we even have a cameo of one of the original (Now Retired and obviously denying everything the new ones are doing) The film was Hilarious Fun! Having the same essence of the Original two. Can't wait for the Sequel!

I had my reservations of watching this movie... but when I finally did, I'm glad I did. It's hilarious, it's goofy, it's just a really fun and funny movie. Different than the original movies, but as a standalone movie, it's great.

Dudes and dudets, this remake should've got more attention for its amazing visual effects, loved watching this movie the first time so just had to have it, especially when the extended cut came out, it give more in depth meaning to the movie and helps to understand it better. Its fun for the whole family(except for the younglings, just because it has profanity). But those old enough will enjoy it!

Was a little skeptical to how this movie was going to be with an entire new cast but I was surprised and really enjoyed it. I thought the characters all worked well together and would love to see what they can do with a second movie

At first I didn't want to see this as if to diminish the original, but this was a nice reboot and it pays homage to its roots with several cameos and treats for Ghostbusters fans. These women are great fun and the laughs keep coming.

Definitely a different take of the original with an all female cast. The Ghostbusters continue their numerous battles with spirits and and other worldly baddies. Great special effects.

Invariably people will compare this to the original, but there is no need for these two movies to compete and they are both funny taking their own paths. Plus Chris Hemsworth ends up being very funny as Kevin the Receptionist.

I was happy to finally pick this one up and give it a spin after missing it theatrically, and the Best Buy Exclusive Steelbook was a great way to do it. The film is a lot of fun and the packaging is really gorgeous. Recommended.

Bought this for play with HDR, and there is definitely some great colour to see here. Fun to watch the over the letter-box effects from time to time too. The movie was not that great, but that's not why I bought this.
