i went into this movie with low expectations. as a huge fan of the original, i was in fear of this tarnishing the franchise. however, i was blown away with how great everything worked out for this film. excellent cast, writing, direction... great cameos by original cast members... definitely worth picking up on bluray because i know i will be watching this multiple times.

I heard a lot of negative reviews about this movie but still wanted to see it for myself. It ended up being better than I expected. The movie is funny, the only thing I would want to see different is more ghosts.

Ordering was quick and easy. Description of article was accurate and complete. The only hang up was when I went to pick up. The individual at the counter was helping someone else ahead of me and it took over 15 mins and he still was unable to locate the persons item. This led to a delay in getting my movie which made me not pickup a couple others that I was going to get.

This was a nice movie to enjoy with my girls. It's not as good as the original (what is?), but was good on its own. I suspect that this reboot will spawn its own series of movies that should keep up laughing.

Regardless of all the bad you may have heard. This movie was a good one. Plenty of laughs. The only bad were the cameos by the originals. They were corny. They coulda done something better. But anyway, great film.

I will always love the original Ghostbusters. This version has a great cast of female comics, fun storyline, and cameos by the original cast. Need laughs, like action mixed with the supernatural, watch this movie.

Not like the originals but if you can get past that it really is a decent movie. My kids love it. Even the 3 year old who now runs around everywhere with his ghost busting tools slaying every ghost that pops up.

I'm a Ghostbuster fan from the beginning. I grew up watching the original movies. With that being said, this movie is a reboot. I think the cast is hilarious with (spoiler alert) the original cast making cameos, excluding Harold Ramis :(. But the humor in this movie is great. The story line could've been a little better, but overall a very entertaining movie to watch.

Contrary to what the critics said about this movie, I really did enjoy this film and thought they were lots of great laughs. While it can't compare to the originals, i feel it stands on its own as a good start.

The cast is great, and it seems the script is loosely based on the original film. But its not all their, I think some of the jokes fall a little flat, seems they could use a good joke writer to punch them up. I do like the actors and the characters are good too. But I think these writers let them down here. But it's not all bad either, its just not as funny as the original film. Which was a magic combination of great acting, original story, and was set in the great back drop of NYC back in the 80's. I liked it, but the original movie, I loved it! That's always the problem with doing a sequel.

In my humble opinion, not as fun as the original, but none of the sequels were. I found this movie to be good in it's own right however, with the stars dishing out laughs from a finely written script.

What a great remake of the original. The ladies bring more laughs than the guys ever could. Brilliant to include the original cast members as well. If you haven't got this one in your DVD library, you should!

This is only for the SB design as you'll either have an opinion on the movie by now or wont care what I say. The Steelbook is well designed with beautiful artwork. Worth the full bucks more for a collector.

while buying steelbooks i purchased this along with the original, thinking this was GB2, when it was the reboot, why make a steelbook for the first one and this one? Do all 3 or at least the 2 OG ones.

I wasn't sure at first if I wanted to see this movie since I am a fan of the original ones. But after seeing it, I knew I had to have it. It is such a fun movie for the whole family. We have watched it several times now and still love it. If you look at this movie as if it was a new never seen before one, you will love it as well. It is very well made and fun for all.

I did think that Hollywood could do anything with the Ghostbusters franchise that would be worth watching, but I was wrong. The characters were great, the story was good, and the special effects were wonderful.

Not these girls!! Who's idea was it to totally ruin Ghostbusters? I could have lived my whole life with never having seen this. Special effects are equal to that of the Scooby Doo movies. Made for Kids...kinda

I am a huge fan of the original and really enjoyed this movie. The women are great but the character Kevin was beyond horrible and actually took away from this movie. I would have done 5 stars if not for him.

This is an entertaining movie, fun to see the old cast included and any nods to the original. That being said, it is not as good as the original or the 2nd movie, so don't go into the movie in that mind set.

Good value in that it includes both the 4k and 3d versions. The 3d is pretty good in this movie. The movie itself is just average, although I thought it was better than most people gave it credit for.
