I've read some bad reviews of this movie, but after watching it, I realized those bad reviews were really uncalled for. The effects were great, the acting was ok and overall, an entertaining movie.

Even though this movie had received a lot of skepticism, it was done very well! There were plenty of nods to the old movies. Not to mention the cameos they packed in! I would recommend this movie!

Having our original GB heroes be heroins actually worked. I had my doubts but I actually enjoyed this reboot casting female actors as the main characters. The plot and special effects were great/

I was a bit skeptical, since I loved the original movie. The movie is a little slow to get started, but once it does, it was very funny and the special effects were Awesome! Totally worth the buy!

I was not one of those people who hated the trailer but I also wasn't a fan of it. I went into the movie with no expectations one way or the other and was pleasantly surprised. There are definitely some good laughs (most of which comes from the Chris Hemsworth character playing the dumb blonde stereotype) and the visual effects are done very well.

Aside from better actors in this it's a thought out movie. I was a fan of the originals but these are better comedians in my opinion. I'm not young either I go back to seeing the originals in the movie theater. This movie was superior to those. This was a great movie selection. Anyone that likes the idea of having a movie library should own this.

This is a refreshing look at the Ghostbusters franchise. There are some very funny moments in this movie which would not play well with the male cast. Overall, a great way to spend an evening.

The movie itself was just OK for me. Definitely not the good as the original, but it does have its moments. However, the 4K quality is almost worth the purchase alone! Looks great in 4K with HDR!

The movie is fun. The 3D was great in the theater. Carries over well at home. I despise, however that in order to get the 3D, I had to spend more buying the 4K package. Other than that, it's fun.

These ladies are showing everyone that comedy has no boundaries and isnt held back by gender. Although the addition of thor was uneccary and his acting was less then desirable in this film they did a wonderful job. the director did well by the franchise.

I'll start off by stating its not as good as the original. it is far from bad as people make it out to be! I enjoyed it, and thought that the story was great and the characters were interesting!

It was a nice change from the proceeding movies, but took a little getting used to at first. The actors made this movie interesting to watch and I would rate it as good as the first ones.

This movie is funny, has much action in it and surprises. I love the actors and they did a good job keeping me entertained and involved throughout. Great movie to relax with and have some fun.

I'm glad they re-did this movie instead of recreating it. I hope to see a sequel come out of this. The only downfall, it didn't come with an iTunes download. just the dumb ultraviolet download.

The movie was good even people didn't want to see it because it was all girls. Everybody was funny in the movie except Kristin Wiig and Melissa McCarthy which didn't find them funny at all.

this movie was great. not sure why I wasn't getting love. I hope it's not because of the all female cast. they were great. the video is good and the audio is really really good if you have a Dolby ATMOS audio system. I have a 7.1.4 and only the UHD version has ATMOS, it sounds amazing! plus, it's in a steelbook case, you just can't go wrong.

As big fans of the original movie, we were very skeptical about the remake. A friend I trust said it was worth seeing, so we took the chance. It was excellent. There are plenty of nice nods to the original, but it is firmly it's own movie. The casting is excellent. Some scares and lots of laughs. We are looking forward to the sequel.

Great movie, Blu-ray makes the details so good to watch. If haven't seen in Blu-ray don't know what's missing. The funny part when the audience throws subway back to the guy at end.

Obviously will not live up to the original, but if you can put that aside, it plays as a great movie on it's own. Loved the different hints from the original movies thrown in there. The extras on the blu-ray are also interesting - my husband loves listening to audio commentary and learning more behind the scenes makes it interesting as well.

I wish the theatrical version had the scenes that were added on the BluRay release! It would have done better. Good movie. Don't compare it to the original, but as a tribute to the original.
