While not a big box office hit, this would be due to most fans of the original movies being unwilling to give this movie a chance. Personally, I feel that this movie was a lot of fun, and a great film in its own right. It pays respect to the original, but does its own thing without shamelessly stealing anything from the 1984 film.

Not sure how many times we have seen it but definitely a fan fav in our household. The girls version is hilarious and I love that they brought back cameos of the original Ghostbusters cast including Egon as a bust. I wish they would make a second one. As we have burned through the originals movies and the cartoon version.

I brought this for my son because he wanted to see Ghostbusters and I have to say we had our laugh and fun time with it. It was cool to see everybody in this movie and slimer as well.

I was surprised that this one was not a remake of the original, but actually had made it better. The plot was the same but remade so it was girls in the lead instead of boys. Good job

The directors cut is quite slow at times, so I would just recommend the theatrical version. Found it not as good as the first and on par with the second!!! Still an entertaining film.

Although nothing can replace a classic like Ghostbusters, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this re-make. Fun, light-hearted and definitely paid tribute to the original.

This Movie was great, Then we purchased the 4k version and WOW, it had special effects that we didn't see the first time we watched the movie... the go outside of the movie screen with the special effects and it seems more 3D than any movie I have ever seen before! I am hoping that more movies in 4K follow in their footsteps!!

Great movie that is a good spin off of the original films. It not the originals but this movie is its own unique masterpiece with a good amount of humor involved. Who You Gonna Call?

Being a big fan of the original Ghostbusters movies, I really had no interest in seeing this one. Curiosity finally got me to go see it and aside from one cheesy part towards the end, I thought it was very enjoyable. Picked up the 4k version and was blown away by the quality. Great buy if you just want something fun to watch.

Wish there was more of an appearance from the original characters. Good comedy throughout and gives credit to the original. Overall it was a good movie but had room for improvement.

Scarier than I expected in the beginning. At least as funny as I expected. There's a well-known male actor in this movie, with a surprising role. Worth watching just for him alone.

If you loved the original Ghost Busters all those years ago, then you'll love this one for all the excellent cameos. I you are too young to remember the hype from 30+ years ago, then you'll probably just find this OK. This was the first time we bought a movie after we'd seen it in the theater. The extended parts were good.

My wife and I loved this movie, which we first saw on the big screen. Kate McKinnon stole the show as the over-the-top engineer. We're looking forward to a second viewing at home.

I know there are a lot of folks complaining about this remake but I really enjoyed it. I thought is was a great remake and the ladies did a wonderful job! Made we laugh out loud.

This is a fun and humorous movie with amazing graphics and a great storyline! You'll enjoy the humor, horror, drama and energy that this movie provides! This will become a classic!

4k 3d extended version all for $20 the movie it's self is ok a different take on a remake the 3d version is nice the extended version is about 20 min longer which I'm excited to see

Like me if you were a huge fan of the original you probably had a hard time wanting to give this remake a chance. I bought the bluray upon release and gave it a look but went into it with low expectations. Overall I'd say this film tried to be something on its on in comparison to the original film while still respecting it. The CGI in 4k on my Samsung was incredible. It really turned out to be a good film but as a fan of the original film I'm still not sure if this remake and the direction it took to stand alone was necessary.

This is a surprisingly fun take on the Ghostbusters. Nothing will replace the original, but this is still a fun flick, and the Blu-ray is filled with interesting special features.

Wow I heard so many mixed things about this movie. Watched it with my son and he loved it. I thought it was a funny and new way to look at the franchise. I really hope for a sequel
