From the start this is a remake and not a sequel! I didn't think it was great but I didn't think it was bad either. It is a good family movie and it is definitely worth seeing.

I think the movie was great. All the actors were super funny, the VFX were spectacular, I really don't understand where all the hate was coming from other than trolls being sexist.

I took my kids to see this in the theater. We are fans of the original Ghostbusters and this was a fun take on it. Chris Helmsworth Steals the show playing the dumb blonde.......

This is a good entertains movie. Some parts too scary for small children. Some parts are just silly. However, overall I found it funny and entertaining. Glad I waited for the DVD.

Not everyone liked what I called the "Girl Ghostbusters" but watching at home on Blu Ray, I did appreciate the effects not possible in the 1980s originals. Worth a look.

I did not want to see this movie when it first came out, because I usually hate remakes of movies I love. But I took a chance since I love everything Chris Hemsworth does, and was very happy with this movie. I think I like it even better then the original.

The extended version remedies some of the strange edits from the theatrical version. It really is a funny film, and the colors, lights and darks really pop in UHD.

Don't believe all the internet negativity about the Ghostbusters reboot--while it definitely IS NOT the original, it is an excellent film in its own right. Four ladies take on paranormal activity being caused by a creepy disaffected citizen, and the results are spooky, funny, and action-packed at times. It's worth a try!

This movie was enjoyable and worked very well in 3d. In the theater release while viewing it in 3d, effects popped off the letter boxed image, known as Frame Break. I was really impressed by this effect. The effect is also recreated in the home release in the 2d release but on the disc only and not digital copy. If you want the full effect from the theater release, it would be best to view the 3d disc at home. The movie was movie also had an extended edition but to be honest, the theatrical release worked just fine.

This movie received some pretty bad reviews and I don't understand that. I thought that it was very funny, it won't win any awards but the girls did a good job with their parts.

Love all the actors, however, writing was weak. Didn't do justice to the actors. Not to the level of the original 2 movies. Still entertaining but could have been much more.

The original will always be better, yet this was still an entertaining film and the packaging is what made me pick it up. An artist did the artwork on the steel book!!

Overall, this was an enjoyable reboot. I would love to see a sequel with these characters, but headed by a different director. Feig's sensibilities really don't suit the film.

The 4k HDR version of this movie was a good transfer. The new version of this old classic was well done. The cast wasn't as good as the original, but the movie was well done.

This movie looks fantastic in 4K. I really like that Sony is packaging 4K & 3D together at a reasonable price. Saves me from having to buy 2 versions of the film separately.

Based on the trailers, I wasn't really interested in this remake. However, I'm glad I watched it. The trailers didn't do it justice. Great script, action & special effects! The steelbook is a must have for collectors and the fact that this one includes both the 4K & 3D discs made this purchase a no-brainer.

This movie was hilarious. I was impressed with the quality of the film and the jokes. It wasn't just a "female" version of the original. This is a modern classic of its own.

I ain't afraid of no ghosts. This remake is a whole lot of fun. The acting is terrific. Casting is on point. My kids and I laughed through the whole movie. Great family fun.

I think that "Ghostbusters" was an original and creative remake and was one of the greatest films of all-time and was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I also think that "Ghostbusters" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense and an amazing storyline as well.

Was a good movie almost an original concept they made sure they paid homage to the original characters it was a lot of fun to watch love the movie watch them multiple times
